Did anyone in attendance at Connor Convocation Center @ Thomas More College notice anything alarming about the basketball court and surroundings ?

 

There is absolutely NO padding on any of the end walls under the baskets. At one end there are two what appear to be large, metal HVAC louvered panels.

 

Am I just a keen eyed barrister looking for future business or is this a real hazard to the players that may run, get pushed or fall out of bounds?

 

I'm curious if others noticed this situation. I can't believe college players haven't ran into the bare walls and injured themselves by now.

That happens in lots of gyms. There is always metal of something, just unavoidable in basketball arenas. TMC is very safe, I assure you. I go to practice there a couple of times a week and never saw anyone get hurt by what you are concerned over.

I'm sure some low life lawyer will take advantage of this now, just great..........
