I have to ask a Beechwood person- is that the offense that Beechwood normally runs? IE: hold the ball out top for a full minute before having a guard drive and shoot or dish? I admit, it kept them within 10 points for most of the game and can understand not playing a conventional o driving it in against the tall timber. Toward the end it just seemed to backfire since, when they couldn't hit shots, it usually turned into a run out and a foul or two points going the other way.

I applied their grit hanging in there. Lemkuhl had a big game on some threes which kept the 2-3 zone from packing it in quite as tight.

I was very impressed with Lemkuhl.

Is Steumpel still out for Beechwood? I think McGuire has been out all year. Two kids Beechwood could count on and would have made them a pretty darn good team. It's tough when small schools lose key personell
