And you do understand that all the wins no matter what level of completion factor into these great rankings right? And that's great but.... Holmes loss to Holy cross actually lowered their point values!! Had we not lost our point values would be higher and HC would be lower. That's how this works you want to discount the losses to East Carter and Brossart but they have as much bearing as any of the wins! And in my opinion you cancel out at least 2 good wins with those losses!!

This conversation would not be taking place if Holy Cross would have handled buisness!! A little bit of bad out ways a lot of good no different than life!! The rankings and rating system reflects that! You are right point differential does help Holmes and I'm right that bad loss hurts Cross! You have no argument because of it!!

And yet the algorithm that each of these sites uses still places them behind Holmes!?!? Conspiracy!! I guess the other 12 teams that Holmes has beaten aren't that bad. Or my favorite maybe HC should have taken care of buisness against Brossart!!! One bad loss for Holy Cross zero bad losses for Holmes!! I think if you read carefully you make my argument for me!! HC is very good and a 4 point loss to very good team isn't the be all end all!! The fact is it is Holmes only loss this year and to a very good team! It's ok to lose a head to head matchup and be ranked higher than the team that beat you!

The only way your argument makes any sense is if you are diminishing HC ranking!

It's a matter of opinion and all teams will have a player or two out here or there and Holmes is no exception to that! Holmes lost a contested rivalry to a very good team and although I hear your head to head has to count opinion I just don't think that game was a true representation of either team because of the ties and rivalry! And aside from the loss to cross the Lady Dawgs have not slipped up full squad or not!??

I think Holmes overall body of work warrants the higher ranking overall! Only loss coming to the #6 team while HC lost to #11 and unranked Brossart and an out of state opponent.
