Thoughts on this week's rankings?

Let's go ahead and get this out of the way...How does Ashland continue to be in the top 4???

Feel free to just copy and paste the answer.

I am a little surprised Holy Cross didn't jump in front of Holmes with the two wins they had. Not necessarily to the 3 spot. Nothing against Holmes, but HC did beat Holmes and HHS in a week's time and probably earned that jump. Not sure where that puts them, but I think they earned that.

With that said, Holmes is still sitting with just one loss. So I can understand "why" they don't move much.

Just some thoughts.

Sorry, one more thing. With all the injuries with Henderson, where do they stand for a post season run? Will they get kids back or are some out for the year. I'm trying to keep up, but unfortunately, it seems like they have someone different go down every week! That stinks1

I think Holmes overall body of work warrants the higher ranking overall! Only loss coming to the #6 team while HC lost to #11 and unranked Brossart and an out of state opponent.

I'd also flip HC and Holmes. HC won the head-to-head matchup and in my mind is clearly the team to beat in the regional tourney.

I would guess they don't have a bad loss to Owensboro Catholic on their record.

First...it was a joke because it's been the first question asked everytime the poll comes out. Second, last I checked, OC is one of the favorites to win their region. Third, never said a word about Highlands. But I'm glad they are on your mind!

Not sure where your comment came from.

They get their 6 th man a post player back next week and hoping to get sharper shooter back start Of district. They still are a really good team. They started the game off tonight up 25-0 over at decent Muhlenburg team that was 13-8.

Henderson only has one out for year and she had been out for three weeks.

Thanks for the update!

Maci Brown broke her wrist at the LIT last game also.

Brown said she should be ready to play in regional.

She could be cleared to play in district but I'm sure they won't play her because they have a bye and in the regional all ready and district it at home.
