PENALTIES FOR NONCOMPLIANCE

Beginning with 2014-2015, as contained in Bylaw 27, the requirements to enter and maintain rosters, schedules and statistics will be enforced more rigorously. This enforcement will subject the member schools to penalties by the Commissioner, including fines and other actions, within the constraints of Bylaw 27. In general, the information (statistics, results, etc.) will have a 48-hour grace period to comply. Due to the unique nature of football and the infrequency of play, enforcement on football will likely be more aggressive concerning score reporting.

I was wondering when a post like this would come about. Where do you go to find statistics? I see where some are posted per game/team but school I was wondering about never has game statistics but is not on list of noncompliance.

Old age getting to my eyes... I guess I have to catch the coach when they are in a good mood..

Imagine that... Dixie Heights is missing from the list.

I'm honestly thrilled with this. It was getting old getting on KHSAA to see a team's schedule and just half of it posted. It would be nice if Baseball, Softball and Volleyball could have a coloumn for their stats...

However, those teams who have submitted stats may not have submitted them for each game. Just submitting statistics for one game will get your name onto the "nice list".

 

What will the KHSAA do towards these teams with partially completed stats?

Does this bylaw pertain to Girls Basketball as well?

I am in charge of putting in stats for my team. While I like the requirement, the 48 hour rule is a little too quick. We have 3 consecutive games over break, it takes time to stat games from film. e have a game tonight and I really don't feel like stating the game tomorrow or christmas. I'd rather just do it on our first day of practice on the 27th. If I play a friday night game, I would like to just come in monday and stat the game during my planning or before practice and then post it on khsaa that night. According to the rule I have to do it by sunday night. Maybe a 4-day or 7-day rule would be more appropriate. It does take some time, it is not a quick process. Schools that have people to stat a game during the game itself have an advantage I guess.
