I tell you what...that's a pretty solid group of 10 teams. You can't sleep on any of them!

For that to happen, I would assume the 4 coaches that voted went with who they felt were better and not based on records. I'm not sure they even pay attention to records. I know I've definitely voted a team higher before that had a worse record than another team...based on I just felt they were a better team.

 

I do think sometimes the SK's, Grants, Gallatins, Walton's of the world get a little neglected from not being in the 9th. Kinda forgotten about at times. Have no idea if that's the case here, but I've seen it happen before.

You can say you are "undefeated" all day long, but the real measuring stick is who you win and lose to.

What are the top 5 teams records? SK is 8-0 and has beat some very tough competition. Can't wait to watch SK beat the 9th region teams in January and February.

HC is 8-1 with wins over Lex Lafayette and Sacred Heart. The lone loss coming last night against a pretty good shooting East Carter team. HC lead by 12 in the 2nd half but fell apart late.

 

That was with their best player sitting the entire game and various other injuries and illnesses. To be fair, I believe EC had a starter out as well.

Most years, NDA and Ryle would be considered good early season tests, this year, not so much. Boone has 2 20+ point losses. The teams NCC lost to are not powerhouses.

SK plays the 4 of the top 5 the following dates. Guess we will see who the best is. :idunno:
