Duh, I just reread the original post that only 4 coaches voted! Enough said. Not enough representation to argue about it!

HC is 8-1 with wins over Lex Lafayette and Sacred Heart. The lone loss coming last night against a pretty good shooting East Carter team. HC lead by 12 in the 2nd half but fell apart late.

 

That was with their best player sitting the entire game and various other injuries and illnesses. To be fair, I believe EC had a starter out as well.

 

9-1 after beating Allen Co. today, again, without Deja Turner.

Until someone in NKY beats HC at full strength, they remain number 1. However, I know two teams that are chomping at the bit to get their shot!!

 

For what's it's worth, I would most likely have SK behind Holmes in this poll as it stands today.

You're right and that's why that game is played where it is on the schedule. Both teams preparing for their region runs.
