    Could be a very interesting matchup with Meier out. Was a very close game the first time in Independence. If the Lady Braves can contain Bosse and Neace there is potential for upset city! Should be a fun night for Buttels! Will be tuned in for this one.

    She was also 14th in the region in rebounding! Not sure what the committee was thinking about. First team was stacked but we could probably list a second team and would make for a heck of a ball game!

    Looks like several players lighting it up for the year. Nice to see the 8th region doing well.

    I have to agree with you all 3 teams are very close to each other, Highlands is a little too far down the list. But thats ok, that gives them something more to play for.

    The list is complete and I do want to say congrats to the ones that achieved making the team. I was just searching for answers on how the list was compiled and what all was taken in consideration when determining who was included onto the team. I did get that the coaches voted and this is the best 15 players in the region.

    Interesting I know of a few thats well above that on pts and rbs and didnt make the list

    If stats aren't involved with selection and strength of schedule/competition is involved I'm pretty confident Trimble and Henry Co wouldn't be included. Its kind of like when momma asked how you were doing in school and you said just fine, your report card may have said differently

    It is a list of very nice players, not sure i agree with some of those on that list of being the "best 15 players in the region", khsaa stats can back that up. But like you said its the coaches vote.

    I wasn't sure if the top couple teams in the region got 2 players each from their team or how that was decided. "everyone gets a trophy contest" a little sarcastic? I was asking an honest question

    Congrats to players making all region team. Just curious how some teams had two players make region team, and some of the teams didn't have any to make the region team. How is that determined? I assumed the coaches nominate players from their team, surely coaches from N.Oldham,Owen Co,Carroll Co,Spencer Co, and Eminence were all abscent from the nomination meeting or what ever they have.

    Only thing I was referring to was to Dixie1 about Grant not holding onto leads late in game in post #15, and to correct your post on third home game instead of third road game in post #16

    Could possibly be to conditioning, if they are getting sloppy late in game and losing leads that would seem like lack of discipline or conditioning.

    Wouldn't be surprised if Owen doesn't cancel against Grant. They always seem to cancel that road game, but they play them at home???

    Agree T1, they do have to contribute more for them to be successful. Although Mills did finish with 5 and Simpson only had 6pts along with 9 rebounds. Congrats to GC for a good game plan and executing it. Not a quality officiated game for either team. You would think for a regional final they would send the best of the best if there is a such thing.

    Agree with you MTK! They are a dangerous matchup for anyone. When the three ball is flying watch out, they can score in bunches. Great bunch of kids.
