Great game, great atmosphere. Congrats to Coach Howell and the Lady Wildcats!

GC led 51-41 with 2:30 left and withstood a furious WV rally by hitting 6-6 foul shots in the final 39 seconds.

Wow!!! What a game. Stars on both teams taking over!! 34 from Ison??? Are you kidding me! What a player!!! And Dossett just a pure athlete. I think she could go D1 in ping pong!!!

Mills with 2 and nothing for Simpson? Again the problem I see in this game as I pointed out in other threads is if Mills and Simpson aren't contributing then Walton isn't going to win many games against quality teams.

Agree T1, they do have to contribute more for them to be successful. Although Mills did finish with 5 and Simpson only had 6pts along with 9 rebounds. Congrats to GC for a good game plan and executing it. Not a quality officiated game for either team. You would think for a regional final they would send the best of the best if there is a such thing.

I read that Mills only had 2pts and didn't see Simpson with any. Was the earlier post wrong on the stats? Still not enough anyway from Mills and Simpson.

Congrats to both teams on playing hard. Great atmosphere in Bedford last night, and the fans got their moneys worth. Both teams played with intensity.
