Agree or disagree?

Thoughts on this week's rankings?

So here's my thoughts. I'm elated to see Holmes at number 2. Do I think they are the number 2 team in the state...not sure. They are very good and I haven't seen all the others in the top 10. So I can't say either way.

However, I do know that whereever Holmes is, HC and HHS should be in the immediate vicinity. They are almost dead even. All three teams. I know most that are looking at this aren't focused on NKY, so I get it. And I do feel this is the best poll. But that's just my observation.

I have to agree with you all 3 teams are very close to each other, Highlands is a little too far down the list. But thats ok, that gives them something more to play for.

Don't get me wrong, I don't really care where HHS is, I just know that all three should be very close to each other, regardless where that is in the poll.

Holmes, Holy Cross, and Highlands represent NKY very well. All great teams, what sucks is they're all in the same region..

And two of them are in the same district with a team that has the potential to upset them too. Not saying that will happen, but it's definitely no gimme game with Notre Dame.

Very true, Notre Dame drew Holmes in the first round. Holmes beat NDA by 22 when they met last month. But, NDA has grown so much since then. Losing to HC by 8 and HC beating Holmes by 4. Should be an interesting first round game at the fieldhouse at Holmes.

Which teams have been scheduled to play six or more of these teams during the regular season? Six seems to be a fair number to determine strength of schedule.

Even when Holmes has not played to their capabilities they had no let downs! Zero bad loses that's what seperates them and yes that counts for a little something!!!

Where do u guys come up with these equations? NDA Has something like a 12-16 record and only one quality win over Boone but somehow they are the dark horse?

Never said Holmes was going to lose, in fact I believ they're going to beat NDA by 10+ but I think this game will be more interesting than the game in the regular season for two reasons

1. It's tournament time: so both teams are gonna come out fighting

2. Both teams have grown and probably scouted each other well.

I agree, I believe Holmes has deserved the 2 spot!

The only thing I'm saying is it's not a gimme game for Holmes. It's a tough district 1st round match up with all the pressure on Holmes. They aren't supposed to lose that game. I would think holmes wins it, but if somehow the Pandas can keep it close, then a lot of pressure when it's one and done.

Again, just a tough first round mathup in the district when compared to just about any first round game in any district in the 9th.

I have no problem with Holmes being ranked number two.
