That was a great high school football game tonight. I saw a lot of friends who had kids on both side of the ball. It will be festive in the 091 tonight with both Cch n the Bluebirds going down!

I heard they were going to do a tribute to Craig Mullins at Friday's game, I like that.

St. Henry won their "All A" region on Tuesday, with Heritage Academy finishing a strong 2nd at Kenton County Willows.

Marty Moore (Highlands), Terry Sandfoss (NCC), Frank Jacobs (NCC), Eugene Luke (LLOYD) and Tony Law (Boone).

I believe Lloyd will be a better team than last year, but may not be reflected in the win-loss column with an upgraded schedule.

I don't believe they have a scrimmage, that team now is going to scrimmage the old coach's new team. Also, I noticed they end the season with Highlands, plus if the playoff format is the same, they could end up playing Trinity in the first round. That would be a tough task for GCL schools.

I wouldn't classify as the greatest, but I enjoyed the watching Justin Frisk at Highlands. He was crazy as the day is long, but I saw him throw a 60 yard halfback pass cross shouldered on a dime.

I love Kevin Bundy, he was from my old neighborhood. We grew up about a 1000 yards from Silverlake. Kevin was a sports reporter for the old Dixie News, he did a great job.

Corzine, Aguirre, Cummings, Strickland and Von Handorf. It does have a nice ring to it!

I was always told that Coach Mike Murphy was an outstanding QB for Holmes, later played at UC and the Cleveland Browns. It was way before my time, but if he played like he coached, I'm sure he was a star!

I don't remember Doug being a QB, he was a safety/db, and I do not remember if he played offense.

I am excited that Beechwood and Lloyd are playing again, I think it is healthy for both teams.

They said the Shamrocks are over rated and they are here to prove it!

They need to wrap up and tackle better. Too many arm tackles last year and they were exposed against NCC in this realm. I am excited for the Juggernauts and think Eric Turner has them going in the right direction.

Stansbury had a great career at Transy, Bo should excel there as well. Mexittucky makes great points with location and friends/family going to school up the street.

I love the Pangallo family, St.Leo would be nice scenery for four years. BJ Blasingame did a short stint in the mid 80's at St Leo.

It could be Jordan, but I think we are still a long way from Dave Faust retiring. He is probably in his mid 50's and still seems to have a lot passion still in the tank. I think Mr.Otte will probably be retired before that decision ever takes place. I am just speculating here, no crystal ball.

I think Matt Otte is the next St. Henry Coach whenever Mr.Faust decides to retire.

I love watching this man coach basketball. I am not a CCH guy, but I do believe he is the best high school basketball coach in the state of Kentucky.

Does anybody know why the Ballard student was escorted out by the police last night? I have never seen a kid go off on 4-5 officers in my life. He was literally screaming at them. The student section was chanting freedom of speech???? It was not a good scene.

I love watching Scott Ruthsatz's coached teams. He squeezes every ounce of talent out of the role players. Heppler and Schumate gave some big minutes last night, they know their roles and they don't step outside of them. When Cole got his 2nd foul in the 2nd quarter, Ruthsatz started subbing Cole/Massey on offense and defense. The little things that most high school coaches would not think about. CCH has a tall order today though, I am curious to see if Owensboro goes zone. I have to work today, hopefully I can watch it from the computer this evening.

Hoptown's coach looks like he is going to have an aneurysm. He is blowing these kids up on timeouts.

I watched it on the internet, the Boro has some big boys!

I know Rodney Moore had most of those kids for the NKY Celtics a few years ago.
