T-CATS
Let's here it!!! Ryan Switzer from GW now at North Carolina was fun to watch, maybe the fastest player I've ever seen in person. Jermain Jackson was electric back in the day from Ironton went on to play at the Ohio State. Juan Thomas back in my day was a rare combination of size speed and power. Tail back from Johnson Central few years back forgetting his name was heck of a player too but if my intuition is right (Q) Baker will be the best I've seen play. I know their are personally a lot more kids from our area that I've watched play over the years who were studs too. Let's here some of yours. Oldercoach
Showing my age, but Alfred (Sonny) Collins was an absolute beast at Madisonville HS in late 60's or early 70's. Went on to excel at UK, but injury kept him from reaching his potential. As I recall, he was around 6'2", 210 pounds and a state champion sprinter. Scary for DB's when he cleared the line! littleluck55
Carlos Snow from CAPE in the 80's was the best I have seen. KY would probably be Brohm or Bush.
Old-School-Football
Jeff Brohm is high on my list. Would scramble from one sideline to the other and the opposing team could never seem to catch him. He was really good back in my day. Would have loved to see him in the T offense today throwing it 30 + times each game.
sportsfan08
Joe Casey from Paducah Tilghman. Guy was a stud. Unfortunate circumstances kept him from being able to continue his career at the next level.
JDEaston
Joe Casey from Paducah Tilghman. Guy was a stud. Unfortunate circumstances kept him from being able to continue his career at the next level. Forgot about Joe Casey. Though I never had the chance to see him play in person, the kid was an incredible athlete from everything I know about him. He certainly had NFL potential. tdyballgame
Brett Hamblin HHS Justin Frisk HHS Tim Couch Michael Bush Jared-only need first name for this one because he was that good. When anyone of them touched the ball, you expected a TD and usually, they didn't disappoint.

DevilMayCare
Frank Jacobs: Tough on both sides of the ball. I'm too young to have seen him play at NCC, but as a life long Notre Dame fan I remember his touchdown catch against WVU in the '89 Fiesta Bowl. He was huge and from what I've heard, a tremendous athlete. It seems he never quite fulfilled his potential at ND. It's hard to catch many passes as a TE when your offense runs the option.
