9-1 loss to Highlands

Easier schedule than in the past. I thought it was good to see one of the NKY schools venture across the river and play. Was there a reason the coach decided to drop the Ohio schools from the schedule?

I'd guess 7-3 or 8-2. The Highlands game is almost certainly a loss, and given the teams they are playing I'd expect one or two more.

Seems like a solid schedule. Don't know what Clark and Lex Cath will be like but the rest of the schedule they have solid chances. Could be as good as 9-1.

That's the Notre Dame of high school schedules. lol. Tough road.

I think this year we will compete with everyone. Might be some tight games that are decided by a few plays or turnovers. Good schedule to test the team with. These incoming seniors are going to be competing with their own age group. It will be interesting to see the season unfold. Win or lose these kids don't fold. They will play to the final whistle. Go Raider Nation..

I have heard that Ryle's returning senior and juniors are very strong. I have a collegue who's son played on last years Freshman team, he mentioned that they were pretty good as well. Sounds like the future is bright. As deep as they will be, does anyone anticipate any sophmores helping out this coming season?

I agree! Ryle will be deep, talented, well coached, and I would be surprised if they aren't one of the top three teams in NKY this season. Two tremendous games to watch will be the Highlands and SK games. Coach Engler and staff will have these boys battle ready week in week out.

 

And I think Colin England, if he stays healthy, will have an outstanding senior season. I'll be rooting for them up until week 10...

Sounds like Ryle will have a big quarterback battle?
