Final. This one was never in question.

Hey at least looks like I'm going to start off the Sweet 16 contest 1-0 I had Owensboro!

Aric Holman-Owensboro

Justin Miller leads all scorers with 18 points.

Aric Holman goes for 15 points & 9 boards. Darian Morrow also gets 15 for Owensboro.

Brent Kidwell the only Collins player in double figures with 11.

Please correct score - Owensboro 55 Collins 38 per the box score on KHSAA website

Dirty 'Boro is gonna be a tough out. Love them as my pick for a finalist out of the top bracket.

I do as well I was torn between them and Cov. Cath in my semi-final game and went with Cov. Cath. may not be the move.

Both are gonna be tough outs. Just so much pressure on a team to repeat, especially when they lost what Covington Catholic did (just Ruthsatz, Heppler, and Schult).

I watched it on the internet, the Boro has some big boys!

Nice win for OHS. I thought Collins was well coached, and they just flat missed some open looks. I'm not trying to rag on Collins but they'd be the 4th best team in the 9th district. I guess some folks were excited to see them make it, but it was a bad matchup for the Titans all the way. While Collins didnt shoot the ball well, OHS didnt set the world on fire from 3 either. Justin Miller for OHS showed his steady leadership and Aric Holman finally came around in the second half to help OHS pull away. I'm very pleased with Darrion Morrow. He wasn't hitting the 3 ball so he drove to the basket and either scored or got foul shots. All in all, it wasn't the best performance for OHS but moving on is all that matter at this point. OHS will need to play WAY BETTER in order to beat Taylor Co. or Hoptown. Can't wait till Friday mornin'! Go Devils! #FILD

No surprise here. Congrats to both teams on their achievements this season.

I'm not sure there's anyone in the tournament who can stop Justin Miller one on one.

I love the way he moves and plays with his size. He moves better than it would appear when you see him. Very skilled in the paint and can pass the ball well also.

I said that I feared the inside game of O. There should be several teams fearing that inside game. Cochran had a horrible afternoon which Collins couldn't afford to happen.
