I think I understand how it works if a team elects to move up in a class but in order to do so, someone from the higher class would have to agree to move down, correct? Let's say Highlands requested to play up again in 5A. Would KHSAA then go to the lowest ranking school in 5A and ask if they want to move down? If that team declined, would KHSAA go to the second lowest ranking school in 5A then and ask? They would keep doing that until they found a school who was willing to move down?

This was my second time watching both teams this year and this was the result I expected. One thing that impressed me so much about Scott County is that their linemen stay on their blocks well through the play. They put on a blocking clinic. You don’t see kids quitting on plays if the ball is not on their side of the field. Hudson recovered a fumble 10 yards upfield after the RB lost control. That was a prime example. He plays both ways and his energy and effort were strong late in the game.

Glad to see Cov Cath push around the Birds in this one. This should quiet anyone who thinks the gap has shrunk between the two teams.

I've seen both SK and Scott County in person this year. I think SK's offense is suited for putting up significant points against Scott County. SK may have a formidable D-Line but Scott County will run the ball effectively against them, which will be the deciding factor. I think this one will be closer than some people think. Conner is an underrated team and it wouldn't shock me to see them end up as Region Champs and a spot in the semifinals. They aren't flashy but they grind out wins.

Agreed. The CC defender delivered the hardest hit I’ve seen all season and it was completely legal and clean. He did not lead with the helmet. I hope both players are ok because that was as physical of a play as you’ll see.

Cov Cath has some penalties but overall it didn’t affect their ability to move the ball. The Camels offense is so inept. If they even had an average offense, this game could’ve been close.
