  1. I happen to run across this video summary of the scrimmage.... Don't see any of the football players out there.... Doss vs Hopkinsville - HS Boys Basketball 2014-15 - VIDEO | KySports.TV All the games at Taylor county this weekend is on that site.
  2. NY is a DIII school. There are no athletic scholarships. he is going for academic reason but chance to play basketball..
  3. When will he be back on the court for games?
  4. Where Are They Now: Scott Draud - Vanderbilt Official Athletic Site
  5. Carson should have stayed where he played last year. He needs the ball in his hands to be effective. Against decent competition, his game was non-existent. I just don't understand a kid that was averaging 20+ a game would transfer (twice) his last year of High School ball.
  6. Is Collier dad also on the coaching staff @ North. I lost count of # of high schools kid has played for but dang make a name for yourself at a school.
  7. If Wells has to sit out a year, why did he transfer? I do know there is better coaching at Central but with the talent that Waggner has/had, they should be making some noise in the region. He is not currently listed on Central or Waggner roster but that information might not be completely updated yet.
  8. Nov 19th @ Collins. Not sure of time, but my guess with be either 4:30 or 5:30.
  9. Cochran should be a decent player as well for Collins. It would be nice to see how they do when they scrimmage Jtown later this month.
  10. Parker does/did have an offer with Parker. Not sure of his plans or status but I just guessing he is trying to play D1.
  11. Tyler Bacon & Jared Farris (Bullitt East) with Farris really being the better of the 2. Tyler Jefferson is a decent size guy for Doss but the questions remains will he play basketball or focus on football for WKU. Gaines for PRP is an athletic 4 that would play a 3 at the next level. But the 7th isn't much better after Spaulding. Eastern has Trey Moses but he is not going to dominate anyone night in/out. Also Chris Coffey of Seneca is decent as well.
  12. Jtown/Fern Creek as toss up for district. The edge to Jtown because of limited experience although Fern Creek had better coaching But the sleeper in the District is Whitefield Academy. They played all the district foes tight last year and returns their whole lineup this year. So it really could be Bullitt East and Whitefield that comes out of district. I see Doss not getting close to potential because they have a lot going on. New coach, point guard coming off knee injury, and chemistry issues. Summer ball was not good for them, it would be interesting to see how many football players end up playing this year (mainly their big man who committed to WKU).
  13. Trinity is a defense first team with loads of offense that hopefully coach with use (not just depend on Spaulding all the time). As far as the 7th region, their coach is one of the best, plus they focus on true team ball. There is no reason they wrap up the region if not state.
  14. Perry is too low on the list. Plus I think West is getting the benefit of the doubt without any real games in the region.
  15. It all depends on the type of offers the kids have. Some schools offer multiple kids and the first to commit get the scholarship. Also some kids want to relieve the stress of trying to perform the SR year on the court. Best of luck to all the kids as they worked hard have have dreams of doing bigger things.
  16. I don't believe that Thieneman played in the KY-In All Star game. He wasn't even that the KY Jr all star tryouts.
  17. None of note... Several D3 schools are showing interest.
  18. IUPUI also just recently had some big coaching changes. So it should be interesting... Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis - IUPUI NAMES JASON GARDNER HEAD MEN'S BASKETBALL COACH
  19. He has family that lives in the Indy area...
  20. The only guard they have returning that played quite of bit last year is Brandon Horne but I see more of a shooter than playing the point.
  21. As a Jtown follower, Jtown has gone down hill fast. Only 2 real players on the team Brandon Johnson (Sr) & Dominick Lewis (So). So I don't really see top 25 anytime this year.
  22. If Bell becomes coach-able at Boyle Co, he can be special and do great things for the team. He had a bad Jr year at Butler where he missed a lot of games which hurt the team because he did not accept the new coach.
  23. It would be great to get all these guys together in a gym. These ranking go out the door once people really see some of the kids play. There are about 10 kids that would separate themselves from the others. After that, the list doesn't really matter.
  24. I believe Tyler Jefferson (WKU Football commit) is not playing this winter. He did not play with Doss over the summer but played AAU ball with the Retros. He could change his mind but we would be a big missing part of the team if he does not play.
