tcjkbt Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 His dad was a heck of a player for Virginia Tech after graduating from Trinity. Led them to the NIT title in the early 70's, I think. Congratulations.
MentschTrachtGottLacht Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 ..... What was his number last year?
callwhatyousee Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Good kid and fun to watch. Congrats to him..
Walter Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Played well in the KY-IN All Star game. Should have a good season this year and continue that at Marshall.
TheVille30 Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Played well in the KY-IN All Star game. Should have a good season this year and continue that at Marshall. I don't believe that Thieneman played in the KY-In All Star game. He wasn't even that the KY Jr all star tryouts.
GoHardITP Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I am just guessing as I have no idea if he even played in the game, but perhaps the poster was talking about the Battle of the Bridges All Star game which is a game in August matching a Louisville based roster versus a Southern IN based roster. It has been held for some time and this may be the game being referenced in the post above.
Guest 11th insider Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Christian has really improved his game. Made a great decision to leave the travelers and play with the prospects. Enabled him to showcase his game and show people what he could do as opposed to having to defer to others.. AAU is all about exposure but it's also all about the right exposure. If I'm not mistaken Air Force and Marshall, 2 great opportunities , both opened up after he moved to the prospects. Hard to pass up the mountain west but he is closer to home! Good luck Christian!
Northstar85 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Marshall seems to be dipping into Kentucky for recruits now. Ryan Taylor, former Louisville commit that played at Western high school is there. Shane Hall was committed, but I guess he's decided not to play. Thieneman commits. I also saw Dyaste's Twitter yesterday that the PG from Bullitt East is visiting there this week. Anyone know of any other KY kids they're targeting?
