Some nice talent building at Fairdale. Very well coached. Good to see some good in game coaching. Jtown just doesn't have the talent/coaching around B Johnson for it to be a successful year. While game changed when Johnson was out the 2nd quarter.

Refs are horrible in Louisville.. Kid's have to adapt to the way the game is called...

If Williams can keep the kids focused the whole season, Doss can be special. I believe last year Doss won the opening game against PRP but prp got revenge in the region.

Ballard can be really good this year. They have a lot of quality players that know how to play. Robinson will not be on the team this year.there's already something in the car a dream about him not being on the

I believe Collins is a lot better than Shelby is at this time. I watched both scrimmage Jtown. Collins has more depth & experience with Brent running the show. Shelby has Gordon playing out of position at point guard because no one else seems to control the rock.

Spalding will win as long as Trinity makes it to state. People tend to vote based on name in the news, so Spalding with have that now that he has signed with Louisville. Plus the schedule that Trinity plays. UofL will have 2 KY Mr Basketball players....

Not Hammond... Not sure of that kids name but he is a good roll player for Ballard. Ballard will be a better team when they get the football players. Hammond is a bruiser inside and Douglas little brother gives them a little more height.

If Ballardfootball players started already, the other interior player would be Sean Hammonds but i can't think who else they would have on the varsity level that would be decent inside the paint. Their other major player is a guard (former UofL player Jerry Eaves son) Eaves.

I believe realignment is happening next year which would affect the 8th or 5th. I know the Bullitt County Schools want out of the Louisville regions. There are some Shelby & Oldham kids at private schools in Louisville.

Jtown scrimmages both Collins & Shelby Co.. I think Collins have the edge with a steady point guard in Brent & and some other kids that can score. Shelby is very well coached but does not have a true goto guy. They have their biggest kid playing point which is not his position.

Good to see Ballard/Hopkinsville close in ranking. They are really the same type of teams whose has tremendous athletic ability. And both coaches coach the game really well.

Yea he did play.. Pretty decent player but Ballard won by 1 in 4 qtr. They played a 5th quarter and blew it open.

59 - 55 Ballard at the end the 3rd.

40 - 35 at the half Ballard. Very good game with great athleticism on both sides..

Hicks was at North Oldham for a little bit before going to Trinity. Never understood why he didn't want to play for Collins.

Iroquois has Chris Drabo who had a lot of hype his freshman year but for some reason or another never found the court at Male. Sure coach Morrow will do good things with him.

Good work... Not a lot not complain about.. Coaching in the region needs to get stronger. I think the 6th has fallen well behind the 7th lately.

The problem with Knott, is you get them in foul trouble, they don't have backups that should be playing varsity basketball. So if you go at Hall or Justice for fouls, the game changes pretty fast.

Is Ballard the #2 team...

Where Does Hamilton fit in with Scott Co? He played in Louisville last year (St Francis).

Plus the loss of Brandon Berry & Rayshon Robinson who played loads of time last year as well. The questions remains why so many underclassman left the program.
