  1. I do not think PT should have trouble this week with Trigg. What's the tornado qb situation? Heard he was injured in friday's game. Is it just a bump/bruise or looking more serious?
  2. So, you think this thread is ironic? The irony of your post is the most ironic and contradicting part of this. Please, clear it up for me if I am wrong. You say you would pick Hilton 10-1 to coach your kid because you "like winners" and he could teach them right from wrong and productive and good behavior from bad? This thread is not about hear say, it is not about rumors, and we would not be talking about Dudley if he had not been caught doing wrong, being bad and not winning. For the life of me, and correct me if I am wrong, has Dudley ,over this summer and season, not perfectly embodied everything that you testify to hope to avoid in your children's coach? Again, this is not hear say or angry opponents slandering the High and Mighty Dudley Hilton and his viscous ground and pound offense. He was caught being bad, doing wrong and then losing without hope. I can not figure it out, what does this man have to do to lose the, "Kool-aid drinkers"? Do you need him to straight up fight a kid? Perhaps, he could film a scrimmage without permission and then provide no film from his 4 scrimmages for andopponent and then expect them to send him film. Oh wait, he's already done that.
  3. I want barren to be competitive every year, but it never seems to develop. They have quality kids with a great support system, it just never seems to come together. Monroe is always a well organized and sound football team with the exception of a few down years here and there. The community in Tompkinsville love falcon football and that shows in the attitude of players. It is hard to win a game against players that absolutely love football collectively. I say monroe without a doubt but I would love to see some competition in this one.
  4. I fully expect Duds to be gone after this year. 0-4 is inevitable and finishing 1-9 or 2-8 is not at all out of the question. Taylor was not at all the most talented team around this summer or pre season but the kids they have are better than this record and this coach. He may have been the cats meow back when the Charleston was the go to move but that time has long come and gone. Green will leave no doubt in the minds or cardinal fans and players that Dudley is no longer the answer to any question, ever. Green by 21
  5. Ask Coach Griff at green what happens when you leave starters in against a team you're blowing out. Leaving starters in during a blow out is only asking for cheap shots and angry opposing players with an opportunity to end a season for any kid on the field. The schedule is what it is, you can't expect teams to schedule up, just as tsyoung mentioned, and then be stuck with a 3-7 record because they guessed wrong. You play the teams you are supposed to play and with the extra room on your schedule, play some local games that the kids will enjoy and be fired up for. Taylor ended up being an iffy team so far this season but week 0 they were a totally healthy, quality opponent, and with better coaching they could make an impact in their district. You are right, Elizabethtown is the decider for Adair and Casey is always tough for the Indians. Here is an interesting question, who should adair play that they are not playing? Green perhaps? who else?
  6. Am I the only one who expects Dudley to be finished after this season? Why would Taylor have him back and why would he want to return? Am I missing something?
  7. If this is so, the KDE portion that is, Mr. Roger Cook should be held accountable. This opens an entirely new box of amazing possibilities
  8. Anyone know what group is responsible for paying the fine? Ath. Dept? Boosters? School District? Surely they would not use tax money the school receives to pay these fines, right?
  9. It is highly likely that other programs were also participating in that setting, but these two long time members have taken the high road, admitted to the violations and pledged commitment to ensuring that these types of violations are not repeated.” Julian on Bell and Taylor sanctions,.."the high road" I have never laughed so hard
  10. Grass growing, watering fields, scrimmaging outside of the guidelines..etc, this stuff is old and timeless practice and really does not bother me in this situation. The troubling portion is that Dudley supplied no film to adair for their week 0 matchup, because he claimed "we have not had a scrimmage to film", and sent two of his staff to film the adair-cville scrimmage without permission from either team. That is the only annoying/dirty part. Dudley is totally alien to me until his recent move to south/central ky, but, I can say that he has no friends here and Taylor County will not lose sleep over tarnishing his rep to salvage what little rep they have if it comes to that
  11. I agree with HCP, this friday will tell us all a lot about Elizabethtown. NO and NH will surely be a test for the Panthers as well as facing a likely undefeated Adair team down the road. I expect success this week for the panthers but cautiously so
  12. This was specifically mentioned and outlined in the post that you quoted, my point was that, perhaps, Adair/Cville folk would have let it slide had Dudley not been so Dudley about lying about the scrimmages and neglecting to send film to adair for week 0 game
  13. The main issue with the filming was that Dudley was not supplying adair with any film for their week 0 matchup because Dudley claimed that Taylor had not scrimmaged, which proved to be untrue. So when the TC coaches were caught filming it was illegal and frowned upon because they were filming without permission from either school and Adair was not going to have any film on Taylor.
  14. I am all CAL in this one. I wish for the sake of 3a that Central could get it together but I can't expect a win this week from them
  15. Green has shown solid improvement from week 0-1. Casey is no lca but is a 3a competitor pick for a lot of people. They looked down against green and green looked like they could handle anything in that moment. I'm gonna give green a vote, edge it out. 24-21
  16. I'm excited to see both teams tested. I agree that neither has seen real competition. I think etown edges out but this week tells the state a lot
  17. I'd say Eagles by as much as they can score with tc holding the ball. Tc won't stop them, but they will sure kill the clock offensively. Cville 27 Taylor 0
  18. So far this season a week zero loss to Adair and a terrible showing and loss against an iffy Barren, Dudley Hilton sits at 0-2 and I also hear talk about suspended coaches for filming violations and a fine and probation for other violations looming. What's the deal?
  19. lolz. brilliant interpretation of a balanced offense
  20. I agree that SW is the #1 team in 4a but until JC is given a chance to prove that they can not hold the spot, I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I am sure Brandon Smith does not mind the #2 ranking, it will mean nothing in BG in december
  21. Apollo played a solid game against a decently coached team with a head coach on his way out if he does not turn it around, great way to start the season for Apollo but South Warren is a final game contender and I do not see them having trouble at all with Apollo. Again, Apollo should be proud and happy with their week 0 performance but this week is over their head
