We have a team chaplain that gets our pregame and post game meals donated by local restaurants. As far as feeding them at other times we'll have our booster club pay for it.

I was just curious how much other programs feed their kids. Obviously, most teams are going to feed them a pregame and post game meal. But how often outside of that? Every fundraiser we send the kids out on we feed them. We also feed them on Mondays after big wins. I know that some of the bigger schools in Georgia feed their kids at least once a day and twice a day during the summer. What are Kentucky schools doing?

West Georgia has two good team camps coming up the second half of July if you're looking for some different competition.

They should if they want to keep up with the states surrounding them.

We've had turf for four years and have not had a single staph infection. Oddly enough we had several when we had grass.

In Georgia it's up to each system on whether they want to allow boosters to pay extra or not. Thankfully, in my county they don't care which allows me to make more money. We're not allowed to request an extra stipend but if they cut us a check at the banquet I can just pocket the money. In the county above that has 6 high schools they only allow each booster club to give an extra $400 to each coach.

The reason they gave was that we had a ton of people who were getting raises but it was not helping them in the classroom. Since they've passed this we're getting a lot more people with masters in curriculum or technology.

Sorry, I should have said, if they get a masters in admin they have 5 years to get a job in admin. Otherwise they'll take your masters bump away.
