No, I coach another team in the state. They have a rabid fan base for sure though.

We don't care that he headbutted a player as motivation. We don't care that he had a second family, in fact, we're happy that he has changed his life for the better.

I counted mine up for football one time and it equaled about .10 an hour when you add in all the summer work.

It's county by county down here. Some say the boosters can't give anything extra, some say you can give unlimited. Thankfully, my county says the boosters can but you have to put it in your budget so that it's not hidden.

Ha, I've worked with several of the guys who are making 6 figures. They aren't working 90 hours a week, especially during the offseason.

What's crazy is the head coach went 0-10 his first year at another school and then came home to Buford and has numerous state championships. It's a city school so they'll take anyone out of their district as long as they pay a tuition.

It' looks like Simpson at Buford gets a stipend around $80,000 a year.

How are the coaching salaries in Kentucky? I think things are starting to get out of hand down here. Not that I'm complaining since I am one . Excellent post eatsleepdrinkfootball. I will say that we have the same brotherhood at Trinity. I see people all the time on Facebook ask who can provide a service and they always respond with a Rock. Even down here in Georgia, we still use our connections from Trinity. As far as coaching though, I'd rather have the best person for the job and not just a T man. But that's just me.

I'm not really sure why people are saying Trinity lowered their entry standards in the last ten years. I entered T almost 25 years ago and I had barely made it through middle school. I always assumed they took pretty much anyone who applied. And I will say that my decision to attend Trinity was the best thing that could have happened to me at the time. I payed my way through by cutting lawns and I ended up with a great education because that place. It helped me become a better person and student. I'm 100% sure that I would be doing some menial job had I decided to attend the public school I was zoned for.

Well, you're running a completely different offenses so it's hard to compare the two. I'll say it was probably easier to throw out of Glazier's O since everyone was focused on stopping the run.

Contact camps are the way to go if they can.

Just to throw this out there, but I'm coming from a different state with different rules. We do several contact camps a summer plus several 7v7. We benefit so much from this that I couldn't imagine not doing the contact camps and the 7v7 to a lesser extent. You can tell the schools that don't do as much as the others.
