I think he won 5 state championships at Hoover (AL) and is working on his 2nd state title at Colquitt County (GA). So I'd say he can coach a little. He's clearly the old school type though haha

It doesn't bother me. Kid had his helmet on. I had worse in my day, and if you knew me then you would have said I deserved it. That being said, coach needs to remember in this PC world now he may need to reign in some of the physical intensity displays. Controlled agression.

Colquitt Co. beat Roswell last night.

Not impressed. Top notch guy considering what he did to his 'real' family/wife back in Bama. I'm thankful ESPN exposed this guy on Outside the Lines. Plenty of Coaches capable of the same accomplishments considering the talent on his teams at GA and AL stops. Plenty of guys that won't act like this on the sidelines. Looks like an idiot with blood running down his face in front of his kids. In this day and age, I bet many of the kids were laughing at him behind his back.

 

I don't care how many games you win, big difference between motivating kids and acting out like this during a game (like a little child). Even better, dare you to act like that with a grown man in your face - big shot.

He's one hell of a recruiter.

It's hard to argue against 7 state championships. I'm sure he's a piece of work but still.

Colquitt is a machine.

 

Went and watched them at the Dome to start the year and they look like a FCS or D-2 College team.

 

I swear half their players look like they are in their mid-20's though. Grown men.

 

Propst is the #1 supporter of a High School National Championship. He is basically begging some of these other top teams to line up with Colquitt and settle it on the field.

This dude is hugely egotistical. After all he did, to quote himself as being "A Great Father, and A great Husband."

 

There is a difference between being a good coach, and being a good human. I wouldnt want my kids to play for someone who can't practice what they preach.

He has changed since leaving Hoover.. Seems to changed as a person which is what he said he needed to do. Also the head butt was for motivation.. Worked cuz after it the D only gave up 2 first downs
