We have the rule in Georgia and I like it tbh. Our 6 start on Friday so they can play 4 quarters of varsity and then you worry about the jv games later. And if they play to many quarters and have to forfeit you only lose the jv game.

It's usually about 30 Srs, 30 Jrs, and 40-45 Sophs. Freshmen usually have between 80-110. At least for T.

It is an indicator of how much talent you have in the program.

What good does it do to fire the coach in the middle of the season? It's not like they can find a solid coach who's not already at the school to come in and make immediate changes.

I'm feeling the opposite. I've seen some kids with great film and work ethic end up tearing up 1aa simply because they weren't tall enough.

UGA vs Michigan State back in the lat 1980s. MSU had a 4th and goal on their own 49 yard line and scored a TD. Andre Rison made a name for himself with that game.

It takes some growing pains to install a new system. I would say he's got the rest of this year to prove himself worthy. The Ballard win should be a notch in his belt. That's a well coached team and tough to beat.

Look at the post before your last one. I left off several great teams that T beat. You said "demolished". That's my beef with your post. You obviously weren't around for that time frame so you have no idea how good those teams were that T beat. If you were then you're bias is showing stronger than any T fan in here.

You have got to be a young guy. Boone County was in it's heyday back then and T beat them 3 times in a row. Warren Central was pretty dang good. St. X was St. X and I believe Bob Redmen was still at Waggener or Ballard. In no way, shape, or form do BG's wins "demolish" T's during our streak.

Why is a 6a team playing a 1a team?

Wow, just looked at his schedule. They should win 6 of the first 7 easily. The last 3 are going to be brutal. Milton, Cherokee and Etowah are really strong programs this year.

Norcross looks down this year. We went against them at FCA camp and got the best of them. And that was without our 4 starting WRs. First place I'd go would be to Buford and check them out. Then any of the following: McEachern Mill Creek Tucker North Gwinnett Sandy Creek

Rome picked the Wolves when the consolidated East and West.

The Clarke Central Gladiators in Athens. They used to be a power house in the 70s, 80, and early 90s but they fell on hard times. They've come back somewhat the past few years.

Man, the band plays in the woods as well. The drumline starts out with a slow beat and gets faster the closer they get. It's like the scene from Gladiator. It's an awesome tradition.
