Louisville’s Male won the National Select 7 on 7 Championships on Saturday in Alabama to become the first team from Kentucky to take the crown since the event began in 2001.

The double-elimination tournament field began with 32 teams from 13 states, including multiple state champions.

I've told anyone who will listen that Male has had the best team in the state from a talent standpoint for the last two years. They lost their QB and most of their line after last season but they should still be very solid. Time will tell if they are able to ride their talent to a title this year.

Will be in the 1 or 2 spot all season in the 6A/State rankings. Guarantee this Bulldog team will play with a chip on the shoulder come playoff time. Even with The QB heading off to UK and some of the linemen moving on to smaller colleges, this Male team won't skip a beat.

Congrats to Male!! Outstanding
