When do they start?

Commonwealth Lacrosse League started Saturday with the play in game for each district. District Tournaments start Tuesday, District Championships Thursday. Regionals start next week.

Covington Catholic (3 seed)plays at Bryan Station (2 seed) Tuesday May 5th at 7:45pm in the first round of the KY2 North1 district play.

 

NKY warriors are the 1 seed seed and will play the winner of Dixie(4 seed) vs Scott Co (5 seed)

It will be a close fight between

X and T with the Tigers a slight favorite!

X and T are meeting early in the playoffs. I hope it's as good as the last time they played.

I look for the Tigers to take this game 15-9

Final score St .X-10 T-2 the Tigers will play KCD for state title!

Good luck to the Tigers but I doubt they'll need much of it.

Thursday Semi-finals

LexCath at Dunbar

Bryan Station vs. Henry Clay

 

Championship Saturday.

Dunbar over LexCath in a defensive dual - 3 to 1.

 

Fast action all over the field but both goalies were stout tonight.

Henry Clay over Bryan Station 12 to 9.

 

The Blue Devils were lead by Transylvania commit Cooper Cason and Parker Gann with 4 goals each.

 

Championship is Saturday between HC and Dunbar at Bryan Station High School.

 

Since the Louisville and statewide leagues split this the third year in a row that HC has been in the finals. Their opponent the last two years has been LexCath and were champions the first year and runner-ups last year.

 

Dunbar will be in its first state final since the split.

 

 

No real surprise with these two in the finals. LexCath lost 20 seniors from last years squad and had a lot of freshmen playing this year. Bryan Station has made significate strides and earned some key wins and a lot of respect this season. The expansion of teams is great as the sport grows.

Henry Clay wins 9 to 4 over Dunbar.
