Showtime, You seem to follow NCC somewhat, who do you think will be in their starting lineup and first few off the bench? Did the Ryan boy graduate or is he comming back this year? He could shoot pretty well as I recall.

I have heard that the Smith kid from NCC plays some varsity football as a freshman, but I know very little about him. Do you know where he went to grade school? Also, I'm not doubting you but why do you think he is going to be good in basketball? Have you seen him play or have any details? Just curious.

I agree that Jake Schulte needs to show improvement this year, but with his length and jumping ability, he has a chance to develope into a very good player.

Don't forget the Pangallo kid. He handels the ball well and is a good outside shot. In their JV game last year with Holmes he played Bolden step for step.

I think Lloyd is better than most people realize and may even challange NCC for the 2A district. Lloyd by 10

Pangallo will play the point for NCC with Bueter moving to the 2 guard this year. Pangallo is quicker and can distribute. With the ball going inside to the bigs first, Buter should be open on the wing for the kick out. He is a good outside shooter.

I am a Campbell Co. resident and was wondering wht they need a second gym on the same campus?

I have not heard much about the Cain boy. He must be athletic to have been selected for the camp at UT. What are the expectations for the comming freshman year for these two players?

I have been watching this thread for several days and think that it is interesting. I was sitting on the side behind a group of about 15-20 Boon Co boy fans for their first round game against Holmes. They were back and forth to the consessions the entire first half and when they were in their seats they were messing with their phones. Not one of them cheered at the game even once. I commented to my brother that it was like they were in a movie treather. I finally said "why arn't you kids down under the basket cheering and acking crazy like the other teams student section?" They just looked at me and acted disinterested. One kid said "it's the first game, we expect to win". Pretty casual attitude I thought.

With two minutes gone in the second half, New Cath's starting guards had scored only 2 points and they lead by 12. Brady had a big second half and Buter handled the ball well, but this again points to the importance of being patient ane working the ball inside out. NCC probably took less three's tonight than any game all year, but as someone else commented this may have been their best game of the year. I can remember three times at least where the ball went to McDonnald and he found an open man for a score. After getting a second chance to start this year, Jake Schulte is playing like a man. Keep it up!

How do you see this battle playing out? I seems that Patrick has been playing much better lately and he certaintly is athletic in the post. NCC has Jake Schulte, Evan Morse and Drew Mcdonald is back from injury.

Wonder how Jake will do against Patrick? Towels seems very athletic. It could be interesting.

Last I heard, he will not play tonight. The hope was that he could play some against Highlands if NCC beats Newport. After that who knows?

Boon lost to New Cath at Boon so that sort of jumbles things up.

So does this mean that Brossart and Campbell Co are on the same side of the district bracket? If so I didn't realize that. Who is on the other side?

Does anyone have an update on the status of Holy Cross big man Campbell's hip injury or the ankle injury to Mcdonald at NCC. I hope they can play come tourney time.

Did anyone notice a group of 5 or 6 Holmes fans who would not even stand up, let alone take off their caps during the national anthem? I thought it was disgraceful!!
