Clyde Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Is the McDonald boy back yet or is his ankle still preventing him from playing?
Jim Schue Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 I don't recall anyone on Nelson County's squad being named McDonald. Don't know as much about Nicholas County. C'mon Clyde, there's a reason many of us come to this board, and one of the main ones is to avoid the confusion of the crap that goes on on the Wild West board, where thread titles like "East-Central Who Wins?" are common, and everybody is left scratching their head about which of the dozen or so East's and Central's across the state they're referring to.

My fault.
Bankingboard Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Is the McDonald boy back yet or is his ankle still preventing him from playing? Last I heard, he will not play tonight. The hope was that he could play some against Highlands if NCC beats Newport. After that who knows?
NEERFAN Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Just giving you a hard time. First thought that came to mind. Actually the second, The Golden Arches of North Carolina came to mind.

I just heard that he will be available to play tonight for the Breds. I would think his minutes will be limited based on score/situation, however, I was told he will be available to play.

With Morse providing bulk inside and Schulte's size, NCC should be able to win by 12-15 points even without McDonald.

I would like to see McDonald get some playing time to help get back in sync before needing to rely on his offensive skills later in the tournament.
PurplePride92 Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012  I saw the title and was thinking the McDonald's All Star game was being played in North Carolina and was in doubt or something.
Omega Man Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Agreed. I agree, It would be the only reason to play him tonight. New Cath will take care of business and they need to take care of the big man for their next real competition.

The "automatic" commit to NC and the Micky D invite comes to your mailbox the next day? Where oh where are the Wear(sp) twins?? Sometimes losing twins ain't isn't such a bad thing.
