Very true...BUT if Rock continually stops Garrard on the ground (which they won't), Garrard will put it in the air to McCollum and no one will be able to contain him. That's my opinion, and you have yours. Guess we will see whenever they play. :thumb:

Love Bryce Sloan and wish he was still at GC, but don't think he is going to be a "tenacious scorer" next year at the varsity level. Boyle will REALLY trouble scoring the ball, and should dump it down to Elkins every trip down, and let him decide who he kicks it back out to. Josiah Robbins will lead the team.

Augusta is now filled, by former Burgin coach Brian Kirk. He is a former standout at Augusta, and will now be the head coach there. Add Burgin to the list of openings.

I think this will be the weakest year for the 12th in recent history. I hope I'm wrong, but don't see anyone making a deep run in march. Seeing a lot of people giving my Garrard County Golden Lions some love, but they have to put it all together. Hope they can make a run this year! Should be fun!

Is it really that big of a deal either way? The kid is going to go to college for free to play the great sport of basketball, I doubt he's sitting at home pouting about this...just my two cents.

Surely you're kidding...I've always been in the belief that High School Boys could dominate Womens College/WNBA players, but I've seen up and personal how good these girls are. If you don't believe me, go up to the KBA on a Sunday afternoon and watch some of UK's former Women's players play against former Mens College players. Call me crazy?

I'm the same way. I've just done middle school games and summer tournaments but I think you have to have the thickest of skin to work those games. Umpires/referees don't get enough credit.
