Very nice player, but D1 is sort of surprising. Good luck and sounds like he has some real nice choices. I'm guessing the AAU style of play suits him well.

Lot of pressure on coaches from large schools when they have all of those kids and still can as many games as they should. Didn't Code win a lot of games over at Campbell County but the parents and fans didn't like the style of play?

I was going to go with Boone until I saw some of the notes about Knott County. It's a toss up now!!

Does Stoll teach at Newport Central? Was this a money saving issue? They hired a 24 year old and his head coaching experience is an 8th grade team? It could be an easy transition since philosophies should be similar since he has been on the bench for 4 years. Coaching the kids won't be his issue, my guess is dealing with the parents will be. Basketball is a hard sport to coach when only 5 play at a time. Hard for the parents in the stands to grasp that sometimes when little Suzie is involved. I haven't seen Dawn coach the girls team, but I always liked what he did when he coached the boys. Good luck to him in whatever he decides to do in his retirement.

How often to these numbers get updated? Hard to make significant moves up once the season starts and games are played?

Zane McQueary will not stand out in any game, but if Boone wins a few games down there it will be because of him. I like the term sneaky good! By no means is he a flashy player, but just gets it done.

Congratulations to Boone County! This year was wide open and they are not who I would have thought would be the one to rise to the top. Hats off to the Rebels for playing hard as a team. They also played with class! Good luck down state.
