First my condolences to anyone who has lost a family member to breast cancer or any other cancer for that matter. I have the same question though. Last weekend we were told by the youth coaches for my son's team that all players were going to wear pink socks last weekend. Well..........I had to shell out 7.50 for one pair and my question is how much of that went to cancer research. Let's face it 46 players on a team each have to get a pair of pink socks is a nice run of money for the company as you do that over and over again all over the country at all kinds of levels. Its almost as if it has gone from memorializing breast cancer victims and breast cancer awareness to a marketing strategy and that just sickens me.

Not necessarily.................Also makes expenses go up, which in sports such as volleyball, soccer, baseball, softball, etc can mean losing money and not making money.

I am one that really does not see that getting to 1A is that big of a "god send" or a program savor for Brossart. Looking at this season they might have beaten Ludlow for the 4 seed but certainly could not have beaten the other three schools.

And nothing wrong with that. It is his senior year and he had been playing in Arizona................Why would he want to sit his last year? Makes no sense. Plus again I will reiterate a previous poster and it is not his fault that he moved from Arizona and was put in this position.

Trust me I did not give you agreement. Obviously you have very hard feelings towards the coach. I do not know him well just stating that he is well respected in the baseball community.

Where did Fowler play college ball? Please excuse my ignorance and no disrespect to him for not knowing.

While I do not know him as the pitching coach he let down all the players on the team if he did indeed not coach in the regional. Other ways to express unhappiness besides having a negative effect on kids. That being said if the St. Henry administration feels he deserves a shot as head coach then they must have a handle on it and so be it. And as an aside Coach Mullins is well respected for his knowledge and treatment of players.

Happens every year in all sports. Can not redistrict just because one sport happens to have a cluster of goodteams in one district. Look at boys basketball Scott Campbell and Brossart.......One of them will not make it out of district this year either.

Is he looking at a future as a QB at the next level?

Yeah the reason I asked is because they used to be one of the handfull of teams year in and year out they were always a threat to make it to Louisville and lately it seems they have fallen off the map.

If you do move all the Campbell County schools to the 10th you would have 8 schools alone from Campbell County in the 10th. Add Pendleton Bracken Augusta St. Pat's Mason County Robertson County that gets you to fourteen. Do you leave Scott and Calvary for your 16 team region or do you move them with all the other Kenton County schools and keep Bourbon and Paris????? Or Harrison? I realize that a 16 team region is not necessarily what the state needs but that has to be the minimum to keep away from the 3 team districts.

And my experience when Campbell Co. was moved is there is not much fighting them on these decisions.

Just curious as to why Highlands would fight this move more than NCC Newport Bellevue and Dayton?

Coach Koz I have never known him to not pull starters, etc and be classy. I could be wrong but my assumption is that he is a good guy.

Will PT have the squad to be competitive with this schedule?

Bob Miller was also a leader in the NKAC for decades including after he retired from coaching..................
