    Good points. And I will add that if they are non NCC football families with the new football regime at the County, unless they are Brossart families they will not look to Brossart to fulfill the football needs.

    No I agree with you 100%. However, in many other threads I have seen the constant "the KHSAA did us no favors by putting us in 2A" statements. My feeling is you are placed where you belong. Now I do agree Brossart would be more competitive on a yearly basis in Class A although some tend to think that would mean instant success. Rather, to me they would be a whipping boy for Beechwood and Bellevue and for the most part Dayton, giving them only the Ludlow game to be competitive in.

    And that is what I do not get about the compaints about the class. It is not like somebody cheated and put them in 2A. Yes thye may be the smallest two A school but that still placed them in that category.

    If Highlands only beat PRP by one point you would have to go lock all the knives up in Ft. Thomas as the Bluebird faithful would be on suicide watch.

    As in close game or as in the coach for Green County will scare them with his demeanor and/or outfit.

    Bottom line Beechwood was head and shoulders better than all freshman teams in Northern KY.

    From the stuff on his shirt this is not a photo from a Green County game. he shirt says St. Something and the kids in the photo are definitely youth football players.

    This was my point in the other thread. Forcing parents to shell out money they do not have so every member of a team has pink socks or a pink shirt, etc (and yes this is exatly what happens) is inherently not honoring and/or making awareness for breast cancer.

    Significany minutes on the varsity? If that is your question it has pretty well been established in a few threads that no Beechwood freshmen play any varsity minutes.

    So...forcing parents to purchase pink socks that many could not afford to begin with is ok? For one game? Also, I have no proof that even a penny from each pair purchased went to research.

    One thing I hope is nobody plays this week except for the freshman championship. Seems to me out of respect for the two teams playing you do not go scramble and find a game if your team was not good enough to qualify for this game. Well.............maybe as long as lets say you do not play on the same night...........I guess maybe it is not so bad if you played on Monday or Tues......

    4 teams make playoffs from each district which means in many instances all teams in district make playoffs.

    Having talked to some of the Red Devils folks and what I have heard around it seems that the suspension for all the teams was due more to the coaches not following the suspensions on their coaching privledges more so than the illegal player usage. Now somebody mentioned the American Legion baseball teams and I have seen some messes with them in the past. Who coaches those teams now. Are they still in Knothole?

    Hmmmmmm..........not real sure about this. I will enjoy watching this thread develop and/or get closed. I think your attempt at humor at the expense of the Highlands faithful is weak. But that is just my opinon.

    Sophomore Mitchell Jones at Highlands really blossomed onto the scene last season and I would expect him to continue to push towards the top of the food chain as far as 9th region pitchers.
