  1. So hypothetically, if it was a tied vote, what would be your solution?
  2. The rest of the state needs to get on board with the 4 districts that have a blind draw. Then you don't have to worry about ties and keep track of who beat who and by how much. You just show up and close your eyes and draw a name out of hat. Sounds much better, right? :lol2:
  3. You're right. Makes no sense. This vote can have a majority, but the commissioner has to step in. The draw/seed vote can be split, but requires no stepping in.
  4. But remember, it's been established among these schools, that it's perfectly reasonable to vote for ones own self interest, regardless of how it affects everyone else involved.
  5. Snapshot of this board and society in general. We all draw conclusions, having little to no idea as to details as to why.
  6. That's what has made this team successful over the years. Not uncommon to see any of these girls have, some games, little to no points or rebounds, etc., one night, then the next, have a big night. I guess what I'm saying is that it seems like someone different is always stepping up when needed.
  7. Since I'm an Augusta/Bracken supporter, I'll point out there is another Bracken girl that would be tied on the list with the 10 points and then a couple of their girls would also be on the rebounding list.
  8. Which should be how "the other vote" should be handled.
  9. Looks like there's a little problem with the vote on this.
  10. ....definitely think there's two bullies in this situation...
  11. I support both schools and also disagree with both on this.
  12. ...but remember, when it comes to voting in the 39th, it's not about what's best for the masses.
  13. I realize that, so again, would that have meant it alternates?
  14. If this was a tie, would they alternate, ........ or just leave it at Bracken since it was there last?
  15. I'm absolutely not. And yes you're right about strength of schedule. Was just wonderful what you thought the final score would be.
  16. Understandably so. But hopefully those 99% realize that the few voices they read and hear, don't necessarily speak for an entire fan base or community.
  17. Agree, adults should be better examples. But unfortunately it's adults themselves that provide some of the worst examples possible. They post some of the most hateful, nasty things on social media. Furthermore, these young adults hear some of the most awful things from the stands/bleachers while they're on the floor/field that are directed at officials, coaches and even young adults from the other team. Hard to expect more from impressionable kids, when adults don't know how to behave either.
