Great job lady royals. Way to represent the state

Sounds like the Lady Royals are reving up their engines. Congrats to O'Mara for All Tournament MVP and all tournament team. Congrats to McNutt for all tournament team honors. Congrats to the team for the tournament victory.

Nice for the Lady Royals to go out of state and win. Nice job ladies. Looks like they played some strong defense in the tourney.

Noticed there were about 12 different divisions. Anyone have any idea on what the criteria was for what division the teams were in? Was there an ultimate tournament champion or just one from each division?

We wondered this ourselves. How did they make up the tournaments. Each division had a champion.

@sumoroyal you said that Carrollton was ranked 6th in their class, what class were they?

I agree. If I wasn't such a Campbell fan (off record!) I'd like to see Mason get on a run and finish their journey with a great run at the state tournament. I'd like to see it for those kids. I think there has been a ton of pressure and scrutiny put on them and I'd like to see them get past that and just have fun and rewarding SR year. No better way to do that than by making a run in state. I think the key to their success is "fun". Play relaxed and remember it's their senior year. There is no tomorrow and if they have fun and leave it all on the table, I predict good things will happen for them. If they press and stress, they are very beatable. Let the talent shine!! Have fun!!

I don't understand these tournaments with multiple divisions. Why not have the winners play on to determine an ultimate champion?

Congrats Lady Royals!
