Finals of the 10th Region All "A" Classic in Paris

Crazy stat of the day:

Bishop Brossart did not score a 2 point Field Goal in this game. They hit 6 threes and 6 free throws to get their 24 points!

Pretty sure this is correct...

Wow, that is crazy!

Wow' date=' that is crazy![/quote']

Indeed

Congrats to the NC girls!!!

Congrats to Coach Letcher and all the young ladies!

Congrats to Coach Greg Letcher and his girls who ended a 22 year drought in the 10th Region "A" Classic, defeating the Lady Stangs who weren't even in the 10th Region back then.

Not the prettiest game ever played in the Hound Pound, but the physical play of the Lady Jackets made life tough on the Lady Stangs in the first half, and in the second half we really shot in hard luck.

Lady Jackets will play the winner of the 5th Region "A" Tournament which gets underway next week. That game will be the "Midnight Special" 9:30pm game on Wednesday night 25th. The 5th Region comprises Caverna, Fort Knox, Bethlehem, Campbellsville and Green County.

Looks like Nicholas County will be rescheduling / canceling three regular season games as a result of their achievement.

They ill be playing in Frankfort on the 25th.

They are scheduled to play St. Patrick at home on January 24th, Lexington Sayre in Lexington on the 25th and Scott in Carlisle on the 27th

Congratulations to the Lady Jackets!

Congratulations to Coach Letcher and the Lady Jackets! This will be Nicholas' 4th trip overall and first since 1995. Good luck in Frankfort ladies!

Congrats to Coach Letcher and the NC girls as well as good luck.

I'd say Green County will likely represent the 5th Region. Tough first round match for the Lady Jackets.

You got that right, last year the 9:30 game started late and I did leave the Convention Center until 12:25 A.M.

KHSAA rules state no game can start past 11PM. Hopefully it's not too far behind.

I'd say that rule won't apply during All A State
