Panthers got off to a sluggish start but overcame that and only allowed 13 pts in the first half and 14 in the second. The win was Augusta's 13th straight over the Saints. The Panthers are now 6-6 and are on the road Monday to face the Burgin Bulldogs. Their final game before next Saturday's All A quarterfinal matchup with Nicholas County in Paris.

I may have misspelled his name. He's a sophomore transfer from Bracken County.

You got to admire the St. Pat team fighting from start to finish. One of the smallest schools in Ky with less than 30 boys playing with three key players out to injury. Love the mission of this school and the valuable life lessons they are exposed to daily.

According to latest KHSAA enrollment data for '15/'16, St. Pat has 33 boys in top 4 grades, while Augusta has 45. Just a couple of minnows doing the best they can in a sea of sharks.

There was a Dylan Glaser that got in one game for Bracken last season. Probably the guy.

It appears that St. Patrick's leading scorer, Ben Swolsky, did not play in this game and in fact has missed the last several games. Is he hurt?

Augusta's "Big 3" came to Augusta in junior high and IMO that's totally irrelevant. Swolsky is out with a thumb injury I believe and is due for a February return.

Pendleton County receives Austin Crawford, let's say Joel Day and a another good kid from Williamstown in middle school. Oh and two other good role player like maybe Cooper Engnes and a Ben Swolskey.

 

Don't you think that should be talked about or is there a rule against it because it's Augusta?
