mcpapa Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Friday January 6 Silver Grove - Bishop Brossart Saturday January 7 Robertson County - Bracken County Nicholas County - Augusta St. Patrick - Paris Monday January 9 Calvary Christian - TBA Can anyone stop Paris this year? If so, who will do it?
Old player Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 If Paris plays the way they have been I can't see anybody stopping them. They really started to separate their selves from this group they last few games
Randy Parker Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Bracken or Brossart would be the most likely to pull an upset, but the Hounds have been awfully strong of late. Hard to see them getting upset at home.
Vito Corleone Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 A Bracken/Augusta second round match-up would be fun.
AndOneDad Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 A Bracken/Augusta second round match-up would be fun. Not likely, Nicholas is playing well and my Panthers are a year or two away. I think they had a chance to play home and home which would have been two more W's on your schedule but inexplicably Bracken chose to not exact their revenge for the last 6 years. I suppose I should thank someone.
Old player Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 This one is all Paris, upsets do happen but I just can't see any team in this tournament playing with them right now the should gain the All-A title with ease this year
ckymind Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Winning the classic has become more important than beating Bourbon County around here these days. All I know is we're a better team than we were 2 weeks ago!
Oldercoach Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 This one is all Paris, upsets do happen but I just can't see any team in this tournament playing with them right now the should gain the All-A title with ease this year I tend to agree, but the Igloo is a tough place to play Bracken. If the Polar Bear crowd is doing their job, BC vs Paris could be a classic.

The crowd at the Igloo may do there job but can the polar bears ? last few games the team hasn't, I just think Paris has really came together over the last few weeks and are hands and feet above this group from what I can see. And isn't the class A at Paris this year not bracken ?
AndOneDad Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 ....and Bracken's decision is called childish. Hmm. Didn't mention that but I'd call it untimely.
OpieTaylor Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Didn't mention that but I'd call it untimely. Actually, it's very timely, they could have done over the "last 6 years" when they were the underdog, but "inexpicibly" chose to do it when they were not the underdog.

Vito Corleone Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 I'm holding off on my Bracken/Paris most likely finals until I see the Paris GRC game on the 3rd.
