First, South has beat Butler, and South's three losses to WV, Montgomery County, and Marshall, all are in the top of their region,were by small margins. Mercy beat Butler by 9, South beat them by 14. You could go down the list and make comparisons like that one all night. I wish the Guru would just give W-V a token "1" ranking so you can be happy and not "mad". South typically wins by at least 10-15 pts. Please don't try to imply that South does not play a hard schedule.

I just heard Megan Pittman tore her ACL last night. She is a great player. So quiet in person but a beast on the court. I like her game. She has a really great family. My prayers are with them for a speedy recovery. She will do very well at Costal Carolina.

Cantrall is not sitting there picking his favorites. A formula is used to rank teams with Cantrall and the LIT. The teams that you think should be ranked higher most likely lost to someone they should not have lost to, and probably by a wide margin. The rankings are computer generated, don't make it personal. Just good conversation. The only thing that matters is getting to region and winning region.

I agree, thought South was sort of high with 3 losses. Not sure why Boone is not higher because the one loss is from an Ohio team. Only KY teams are calculated in the LIT, so they should have no losses as far as the LIT is concerned. Thought South would be 11 or 12, but I won't complain, like you said it doesn't really mean anything.

Congrats tp Sydni. That's pretty amazing to have 2500 and we are not at the midpoint of the season. I saw the game when she hurt her shoulder and had to come out which put Marshall County back in the game. I had to leave at half-time but told my husband that if Moss can play, they should put her back in because Moss with one good arm is better than most healthy players, lol. I was right!

I agree. Saw her play a lot this summer. I liked the fact that she never got angry even when she had every right to be angry. She was constantly fouled. She just plays the game, doesn't flop, just plays strong. You gotta respect that type of player even if you are playing against her.

Cardwell and Wells from Collins also made the all tournament team. I will say this, Cardwell from Collins is probably the best 3pt shooter I have seen so far this year.

We were actually down 4 points at the half, but the girls came out in the 2nd half playing better much better defense and rebounding. I think the two guards from Simon surprised them. Was impressed with their guards #11 and #23(not sure of their names), although not very tall they shoot very well.
