  1. 4 out of the 5 on the same AAU team. I guess there is not an argument that Kentucky Premier gets the top players in Kentucky.
  2. Ky Lions Foundation announced the finalist for Miss Basketball. 5 really good players. Congrats!! China Dow Rebecca Greenwell Makayla Epps Larryn Brooks Kyvin Goodin-Rogers
  3. When I saw the refs, i knew it was not going to be a good night. How does South keep getting that particular lady ref from the 6th? They were awful. But I always say, the refs should never decide the game. Both teams made very bad plays in the end and South had chances to win but turned over the ball. Collins found a way to finish. Congrats!

  5. OMG!! I posted the score before I listened to the game. South did not have a lead until 45 seconds remaining in the game. At 2.5 minutes left OC had a 7 pt lead. Great plays from Sydney Jones, Emma Sedoris & Corine Sanford. Abby VanZant with the great basket at the buzzer!! Great job Coach Higdon!! Really mad I could not be there but thanks to the PSN for a great broadcasting job!!
  6. South wins district 29!!! Congrats to Coach Higdon and the girls!! Really proud of how they overcome a really difficult start to the season!
  7. Congrats to Coach Wright and Ballard on winning the 28th district! They lost to Christian Academy in the LIT so I am glad to see they got the district win!
  8. Coaches do it all the time. Not sure if that would have worked but it is an option.
  9. I hope it never changes. I love the fact that any team no matter how big or small, can win their region and go to state. And even if they don't win, they get to compete with the best of the best. That's why the sweet 16 is so special. I might be wrong but honestly, when I look at state champs in the other sports, I only pay attention to the top classes.
  10. That's what was said earlier. If the KABC names her POY they will get an invite because KABC only picks seniors in the region for players of the year
  11. I don' t really know a lot about the 9th region, but if she is up for POY, the paper said senior POY' s will be invited if they are not already on the list

  13. Congrats to Cann(PYO) and all the young ladies!! I bet the vote was very close between Cann and McKee. I was also surprised that the eighth region had only 1 invited to the all-star tryouts. Thought Wells and Sandlin would also have been invited.
  14. Congrats to both deserving girls! I really thought they would not pick two from Kentucky , but so glad they did!
  15. Congrats to Marion County! They will most likely win state but in a tournament with one loss you are out, anything can happen.

  19. The Kentucky Scoreboard says Qwen County lost, the coach might want to fix that.

  22. Yeah she did not play in the after Xmas tournament from what I understood, her mom said she was back from a concussion. I think this is her 2nd concussion this season. Was most impressed with VanZant, Mullins , Sedoris,Beaudrie(sp?), and Taylor. They are becoming more confident and should win the district.
