LCA should have put the ball in the endzone when we were inside Corbins 10 and the clock wouldn't have been an issue. LCA will get focused for Berea and we will make our run. As a player I can no longer afford to listen to what others think, so I will say farewell to bgp untill the season is over. Congrats to Corbin and LETS GO EAGLES!

Sorry, but I think OPEN will remain undefeated. I haven't gotten the chance to play against them but from what I hear, you just can't beat them.

This is bringing up an older argument, but I think the difference in schedule strength is shown between Raceland and Fairview. We played Fairview tonight and when the goin' got tough, Fairview started fighting amongst their own team. When we played Raceland and the goin' got tough, they came together and smacked us in the mouth. Raceland knew what it was like to play in tough, physical games. They did it last time they played us at our home, not too sure about 4 years ago.

My problem with it is that they do it every time they play us at our home. We always show them its our house but they keep at it.

I just got down watching the film and yes we had some stupid mental mistakes, but a lot of the calls were not very good at all. I'm also very interested in what went on with Raceland's special teams. I am also very sad that I didn't get a Ramburger, by the time I got out of my pads they weren't selling them anymore.

First off I want to say good game Raceland! Its always a great experience playing there and its always good competition. But I have to ask, what was up with Raceland's special teams? I assumed the kicker was injured until they attempted a field goal.

Don't try to read into the LC/LCA score. LCA was missing 9 starters on defense, and 3 of the back ups who should have helped replace the 9.

As long as fairview comes out and plays their game they should win by a lot. Don't take the game lightly, this team can surprise you. LCA and Raceland made that mistake.

This one won't even be the game, hazard will be done with them in the first half.

Sad to see how far this program has fallen, those kids played hard all night and I wish them well. On a side note their band wasn't even that good :madman:. Like I said, its sad to see how things are run down there.

Quickslick what's your deal, your just trying to pick a fight. Try to show a little maturity. (he probably is going to respond by saying I have no class) And about what's happening in Raceland with the parents, I find this hard to believe. Farview can't be that good.

My responses to your statements in order: *It does matter that it was close, yes beechwood proved to be the better team but not by much. *LCA and BW have played 3 times total. If i remember correctly, LCA lost to BW in 2004 (4 years after LCA's first season of varsity football and one year after Coach Rains' first seaon), Beat BW in 2005 (5 years of varsity football total and 3 years of "actual" football), and lost in 2007 in a very close game. *Agreed *IMO Raceland could have beaten BW and Hazard, but was upset by LCA. *Once again, opinion you claimed as fact. *I know Beechwood plays a very tough schedule, but this is once again an opinion. (I don't know much about other NKY teams schedules so this may be true, but still not a provable fact) *Your not one to talk about backing up stuff with facts. *IMO, we are a decisivly better district than the one you mentioned.

if your referring to District 3: Beechwood, Bellevue, Bishop Brossart, Dayton, Ludlow, Walton-Verona, they only have one team in the top ten.

Hazard will have to go through Raceland and its not always easy.

District 7 has been a very tough district over the past couple years and it just got watered down. Mayfield just barely stayed in 1A, the cut off is 200 and Mayfield had 199.

Agreed! If Coach Rains was still around i know LCA would love to keep playing Raceland, but with Coach Graham, who knows...

I'm not overly excited about playing in 2A next year, but LCA will have a chance to become even better. I don't think Raceland and Fairview will be too disappointed in seeing LCA replaced by Paintsville though.

Craig McIntosh put the ball through the uprights as a hobby. He did it at least 7-8 times and 2-3 with no wind at all. Its awesome he is kicking field goals for UK now

I think you have forgotten your history, I think your being a little naive. Not only are you claiming Mayfield is the best 1A team ever, but now your saying LHC is the second best?? LCA pummeled this same team last year at state. To get back on topic, I think LHC is better than Beechwood at the moment but the playoffs are far off and their is time for BW to improve. It would make for a great game.
