First let me say I do not think Beechwood is doing ANYTHING wrong and neither does the KHSAA. If you are jealous of Beechwood school district or football program I guess you should figure out what they are doing and copy it. Insert whatever other school you want, Highlands, Boyle, Trinity, X, etc..........

I am fairly certain the Trinity faithful are hoping they hire from within.

I don't know if you actually read it or not but you said the state and that is the state. Creek plays football in Kentucky. I also think you missed Lafayette who is 6A and is ahead of Creek. Awesome. :sssh:

I think the 2 Tennesee teams that thumped them are off the schedule. I also believe they have 2 new co-ordinators.

In that case it is probably someone who handles paperwork and logistics for the head coach so he can focus on the team.

Frank Parks is identifying himself as the head football coach on the coaches list-serve. Does anyone know anything about him? Did they make any announcement? Seems par for the course at Station.

2nd year is almost always better. Grant county just shot themselves in the foot.

Except for the 2 championships it has won here in kentucky and at least 8 runner up finishes here in kentucky. There are high school teams all over america running and winning championships with TFS.

Don is at a level where I would say he is better than most coaches in this state. Is he top 25? No. Is he top 50? Maybe. Is western hills a good job? NO. Could he do better at Mercer? Again, maybe. Is he as good as Preston, probably not.

Firing a coach that fast is garbage. Hope Grant county admins. get what they deserve.

The bit that I posted at the start of the thread is from Mike Leachs book "Swing your Sword". Mike at Texas Tech beat Texas and Oklahoma a number of times. Did Tech have better players than either? Did Leach allow those around the program to complain about real or percieved advantages at Texas and Oklahoma? Did Tech have a better coaching staff? Did they have better schemes than Texas and Oklahoma? Tech controlled thier fear (conventional wisdom), Tech found its strength (simplicity,repetition,leverage), and didn’t worry about what Longhorns and sooners could do (4 & 5-star players, first class faciliteies, tradition).

Overcome your fears. David controlled his fear, found his strength, and didn’t worry about what Goliath could do.

Who are the coaches for Kentucky this year? Who will call plays? What do we hear they will be doing offensively?

If Paul telling the truth hurts the program then Paul isn't the one to blame for hurting it in my opinion. Only people with agendas that aren't best for everyone want things done behind closed doors, in secret, or lied about to cover the agenda.
