Does anyone have the playoff win-loss totals in coach Harts tenure?

I went to visit Highlands winter workouts a couple years ago. I watched Highlands work out. They outwork every team I have ever coached. I coached for 20 years and was part of a state champion. Their workouts were not even close.

Duffer Duffy runs a balanced offense that will throw 20-30 times per game, which would get some of those guys back out. You will not get that from Settles or Clevenger. What about Mark Peach? He is a great coach and molds the offense to the personnel.

Duffer Duffy would be an excellent choice. He is a great football coach. He is the best package of characteristics of what Danville needs.

Former UofL star quarterback Browning Nagle was in town to be honored at the Governors Cup Luncheon, he took the opportunity to speak to Coach Charlie Strong about his son. Coach Strong told Nagle he would tell Coach Kenny Carter to look into it. Strong mentioned it in his speech during the luncheon, for the complete Charlie Strong speech go here. Nagle's son B.J. is a junior at Briarcrest Christian High School in Memphis, TN. He is 6'2 205 lbs and passed for 1,022 yards as a sophomore. Browning Nagle told Rick Bozich, "I got on Charlie a little bit (Tuesday) night," Nagle said, with a laugh. "I told him they had to recruit my boy. He can play. He's good."

The current group of 5 kids as Trinity is the exception. The vast majority of D1 athletes in this state have always come from Public schools. Trinity in fact has won most all their titles with 1 or 0 D1 recruits on the roster. None of the other private winners are any different. The talent roaming the halls at Tilghman, Bryan Station, Henry Clay, Central, Ballard etc.. have been just ridiculous over the years.

It would be nice if you would actually read my posts first. We have 4 years between reclassifying because Julian is lazy and I think Leatherneck said it was a lot of work to do. 2 years is always what we did until this year.

I'm not asking for more trophies at all. I'm not even commenting on who is winning and by how much. I'm commenting on the state of the game. The state of the game is healthier than it has ever been.

Nope, many people will be unhappy just like always. That doesn't mean being lazy to avoid some work is the right thing to do.

Its like you guys are saying "look at that guy, he is handsome and his parents give him a lot of money, it's not fair, I want the hottest girls to like me too" The way I look at it is to compete with him for the ladies i'm going to have to work hard and do things differently. I'm going to have to earn some money, my parents don't have any, and i'm going to have to treat the girls great because i'm average looking. I can't expect the government to give me a hot girlfriend. Guess what its not equal but it is fair.

Per Julian Taketts speech to the coaches "The last year of 4 classes about 10,000 student athletes were playing football in Kentucky. This year 16,000 played football" How's that for the health of the game?

Highlands would only move up 1 class even after 6 titles in a row if the enrollment didn't change. The good programs are still going to be the good programs you will just get more games statewide with teams playing schools that are more similar demographically. A team like Highlands just shouldn't be in a class let alone a district with a Pendleton. Those deals would be fewer and farther between. The Oklahoma and Indiana deals wouldn't keep Highlands from being great nor would it magically get Pendleton a state title. You have to earn those.

Schools without great traditions have to overcome more than (Trinity). Schools without great Principals have to overcome more than (Trinity). Schools without great booster clubs have to overcome more than (Trinity). Schools without deep, and I mean deep coaching staffs have to overcome more than (Trinity). Notice I did not mention anything about players. Recruiting rumors are a non factor until we step up to the plate and take care of everything else, then the players thing just takes care of itself. Its like magic. Quit whining. The winners are playing within the rules. Call Julian Tackett or the BOC to change the rules. Or call your local school board to level the playing field for your teams head coach with more support, more money, more staff, more planning time, and open enrollment It is not (Trinity's) job to come back to the pack. This is what they instituted in Oklahoma last year. B. In athletic activities, a member school shall be placed one classification above the classification in which the member school would be placed according to ADM if the member school meets any three of the following four criteria: i) the school has the ability to decline admission or enrollment to a student, even if the student and the student's parents (or custodial parent or court-appointed guardian with legal custody of the student) reside within that school's public school district or designated geographic area; ii) the school is located within a fifteen (15) mile radius of a school placed in the 5A or 6A classification according to ADM; iii) fewer than twenty-five (25) percent of the children enrolled at the school in grades nine through twelve qualify for free or reduced lunches; iv) the school's ADM in grades nine through 12 has increased by fifty (50) percent or more over the previous three school years. C. A school moved up one classification pursuant to the above criteria will be moved back down in classification in a particular activity if the school's team has not finished among the top eight teams in that activity in at least three of the previous five school years. Indiana has instituted a new "success factor" rule. Each championship (from state to regional) is assigned a point value. If you exceed that point value over a certain period of time, then you move up a class. I would like to see these things for Kentucky, but then everyone is going to have to shut up and get better. There are still going to be really good teams out there and you are not going to be handed a ring.
