There is an assistant from a school in Ohio who is interested as well ... ...

Do you have information any of these folks have applied? Or are these names folks are saying.

I would assume Coach Perry will be considered.

I think the only one on that list with an interest or a chance is Perry. A name I have heard is Josh Jaggers.

Duffer Duffy is the son of the oh-so-beloved Duffer who coached at Danville and Highlands in the 80's, correct?

I would be shocked if Duffer Duffy is considered.

I have heard Henderson Co.head coach/Danville grad Clay Clevenger's name come up.

What I am hearing also.

I was told that Shadon Brown and Craig Yeast are both very interested and expected to apply.

Many expect Coach Perry to get the job. I don't know that Coach Perry is the slam dunk that people think.

I believe that is correct. I just got to the area in 1998 and I had never heard of Duffer Duffy until Sam Harp left.

To expound on Coach Perry, he has been in the area the last 5 years. Why would he even want the head coach job is my question.

I'd be very intrigued to see if Jaggers would get the job IF he applied. I don't think he'll apply though.

I always got the impression from Shadon he enjoyed coaching at the next level.

I wonder how involved the superintendent will be in the selection process. I like Carmen a lot. I hope I catch her at Guadalajara again sometime soon. :D

I don't doubt that he does but I guarantee he is getting pressure from home to come back and restore Danville to greatness. The Danville people I talk to the most want Shadon Brown.
