I know a very good head coach that is applying. Out of respect to him I will not mention him by name. But has been successful at a place with less resources.

At an established, successful program like Danville, I expect them to hire someone with head coaching experience. There should be excellent, experienced coaches applying who have head coaching experience. It would surprise me to see them hire someone who would be a first time head coach.

Duffer Duffy would be an excellent choice. He is a great football coach. He is the best package of characteristics of what Danville needs.

This is PURELY speculation but I wondered if the name Mark Peach would come up for the Danville job?

It has seen better days but it's not bad at all. Nothing a good concerted effort from all involved can't fix to get it like it used to be.

...I didn't think the lawsuit ended up getting anywhere with either of the Duffy coaches. I know the KHSAA ended up settling with the parents. I don't see it posing too much of a problem.

I think it would be a factor for some in Danville. He was well loved their by his players but not necessarily everybody in the Admiral community.
