I wouldnt count the L's up yet Brossart's young bringing back 6 starters with only 1 senior & 2 Juniors this year and if this pitching thing works out the new coach might have them towards the top in N KY . They'll be a fun team to watch. IMO

Lets face it. Norte Dame fastpitch is sport #4 there ( Volleyball - 1, soccer - 2, basketball - 3 & fastpitch -4) Until they get a caoch that will make there girls to commit to fastpitch only (atleast during the season ) they will always be 1st or 2nd in the district and at the bottom in the region.

Having to beat 2 good teams out of the same district every year is a tough task for any one team. Good luck to Clark & Montgomery tonight & congrats to the Lady Mustangs & Polar Bears for a great season!!!

Yes in deed. Congrats to Clark County on the Win & congrats to Bishop Brossart on a great year. I've seen the Lady Mustangs play 6 or 7 times this year. Definetly wasn't there best defensive night. But give credit to the young lady's from Clark for putting the ball in play . Should be a great finals tonight. Cant wait to see it!!

Here's my take on this. First off players (from any team )cant control what a coach or loud parent in the stands do or say. From the games I've seen this year the girls from Brossart play with alot of emotion , heart & sportsmanship. And really thats what its about. I seen the district finals and you have to give the young ladys from Campbell alot of credit for coming out ready to play, especially after getting run ruled twice during the season by Brossart . Yeah sure Brossart was a couple of hits away from making it a 5 or 6 to 0 game but thats fastpitch. I just dont think its fair to take anything away from the girls from Brossart they've a great year.

I agree about the semi's. But I see Brossart beating Clark in the semi game. Montgomery & Brossart in the finals. Will be a great game if both pitchers are on!! Hope to see it.

I agree with you Big stick. Mason's always had a handful of good players but never enough to be a power house in softball by no means. It will be interesting to see how well Bracken does in the region !!!

I beleive the Dawg called this game about a week ago. I seen highlands play some good teams down the stretch close. They may not of won those games but by playing the better teams late helped them prepare for the games that count. ( District & Regional ) the regular season wins means nothing . Congrats to the Lady Birds !!!!!! I bel

Saw the game it was a great fastpitch game. Came down to a mistake . Like it usually does when 2 good teams play. Great game by both well respective Northern Kentucky teams.

I agree with SSC but dont count out the young Ladys at Highlands, they have played alot better of late. As far as the 37th Big green horse is correct. Campbells been done for a while & I dont think Scott can beat Brossart. Cant wait to watch some games next week!!!

Brossart has a real nice team . This week will tell they have ST. Henry, Walton & Conner. I seen them play Bracken in the all A & Ryle and both of those games could of went either way. I'm with ya though close doesnt count and only time will tell after this week.

I was at the game last night your right it was a nail biter . typical Brossart / Bracken game. Bracken & Brossart over the years have become a great rivary not sure if they care for each other or not but I can say they atleast respect each other and there programs and at the end of the day thats good to see in high school sports. If they would meet again in the region I definetly will be there to see that. Its one of those games you hate to see either team have to lose.

Not sure if thats true. I think the Sanfoss girl pitched varsity as a 8th grader. I may be wrong but I think thats right.

Its sad when your talking about wins and lose's at the freshman level and as far as that goes even the JV level! Freshman and JV are both set up for kids to play and improve and HOPEFULLY have the opportunity to play at the varsity level. Not a hundred % on this but I thinks its been a LONG time since the Camels have beaten Brossart. If thats the case then I would say the Brossart coaches at those 2 levels are doing something right. I wasnt at this game but As far as the stats being wrong in the varsity game who care's it not HOW its HOW MANY !!!!!!

The Brossart New Cath game couldn''t of been a better situation for New Cath after Brossart lost in extra innings to Conner earlier that day. Not sure that 1-0 game would of been alot more if they would of played first.

Congrats to Jackie and the lady cards. They will represent the 10th region well. I was told that the first round game with Brossart would be the championship game. The winner of that game would win it all. By the scores of the semi's and finals I beleive that was tthe case. GET R DONE DOWN STATE

That's not a supprise to me. I've seen her a few times. Miller's a great pitcher and with her bat going this year she's a complete player.
