When did reaching base by an error or a FC equal a hit? I think the Brossart way of scoring is a little unrealistic.

Again like was stated in the last thread about Mel and BBHS they have there own way of keeping the book and thats just the way it goes.

Just jealousy and most who write here never attend a game. Ncc called games in last night and it was an exact match. Stats mean little the final score is what counts and Brossart usually comes out on top

HA sorry to say I see all the games and I also kept the book for the game so yes, I know what a hit was and what was not a hit. Oh and it is not jealousy just stating the facts. Sorry to disappoint ya. Also, what is there to be jealous of?

Constant success

Constant success

Not jealous at all about constant success. I never think to be jealous of a team/player that is successful. It makes me want to do better. See ya next year. Lets see how good Brossart will be when their "horse" graduates.

Well lets see Brossart's freshmen team beat NCC 14-0 and 17-4 with just 7th and 8th graders. The other day and Brossart starts three freshmen, three sophomores on varsity and a junior. Lets see Brossart's JV team that led NCC 3-1 for most of the game is mostly freshmen. Oh and NCC loses their little horse too along with other seniors. Don't see anything changing actually. Might be 15-5 instead of 7-0. Brossart's offense will be rocking.

So I guess when Campbell County beat Brossart's freshman team 19 - 3 & 15 - 3 (4) on Wednesday, that meant nothing? And the scores could have been worst if the CC coach did not agree with switching after 5 runs were scored per inning?

Its been a number of years since Campbell beat Brossart and it wont happen soon. Remember the Brossart team is mostly 7th graders playing against true freshmen. At leats NCC played kids the same ages. The thing is 7 Brossart varsity starters will be back next year and 6 for two more years before they even need the younger kids. The Brossart JV team also beat Campbell 5-2.
