Of course every parent / player would want to be #1. but if your number 17 out of 21 and your a junior and lets say 12 of them are under classman then basically your coach is telling them your not going to play. Thats the only reason I see why to do a numbering system. I said in an earliar reply I personaly think its to get upper classman to fold it up without having the coach to cut them. If your numbering 1 or 2 by position thats different but if your numbering 1 through 21 that doesnt make sense at all. Atleast I've never heard of that !!

I'm sure every coach has there own way of sending messages to there players. Not sure this will work out or not time will tell. BUT especially with girls team chemistry is half the battle , To me this wont help. Seems like alot of smoke in the air this early in the season !! When they havnt even played a game yet. It could be a long year for the Camel program !

Godd idea towards the end of the year. Playing good teams from another region would be a win win for all teams involved ! We need to get this out to the coaches and see what they think.

To late this year but something to shoot for next year. It would fun to watch from a fan stand point. IMO ( I guess the only way to get this to happen is to get some 9th & 10th region coaches together to discuss ) or maybe next year have everybody use one of there scrimmages for this start on Friday and finish up on Saturday ? just a thought !

I think it would be a fun tournament 9th vs 10th. It would be very interesting . I agree with Porky with the top 5 - 9th region teams vs the top 5 10th region ( Montgomery, Clark, Bourbon, Brossart , Bracken ) I know my lady Bears would be all in ! (That would be a great day of softball )

Just a thought maybe the younger grade girls have more talent thatn the upper class girls and this might have been done for the girls to decide if they want to stick it out or just give it up. Some coaches have a hard time cutting players and this might be her approach. Not saying she does . Just a thought !

Congrats to the lady indians and good luck in Bowling Green. Does anyone else see this region getting tighter between 4 teams or so ?

Its not the point on where the kid wants to go to high school at. If the kid isnt in the feeder school to the high school he or she wants to attend then they should wait until freshman year to play sports there. END OF STORY . Its to keep all the high school coaches from recruiting out of schools they dont belong . If it wasnt for feeder schools kids would be getting asked to play high school sports earlier just to get them into there program and thats what this is really about isnt it ?

I have but not to this extreme . If your a ND fan or player the good thing they got the win ( and thats all that matters this time of the year ) and they should be fresh and nobody got hurt. IMO

I'm with wanttowin !! If ND didnt like it they should of done something about it. Maybe ND coach didnt have confidence in her team to get after them man to man the whole game . Highlands didnt break any rules and she gave her girls in her mind the best opportunity to win and almost did it! Maybe Dixie should of tried it !

The T was terrible. I was sitting not to far back and from what I seen he was just asking him about the call. To me the ref has no right to T a coach up in this type of game unless he gets out of control and that wasnt the case here. Congrats to Coach Feldman and the girls at BBHS on a great season, This will be great experience for them for next year. Regardless the game was decided by BBHS not being able to knock down some shots. My lady bears will have there hands full tonight against Mntgomery, but one thing I did notice is that there were times Montgomery looked very tired.

I'm with Lawnboy UGLY !!! Not sure why NCC didnt call some early time outs in the 3rd quarter to try and keep this one close. I think their coach finally called on when they were down 18 or so ?? But I'm not sure NCC even shot enough attemps to score 44 points. Once they took Kiernan out of the game in the 2nd quarter NCC had no one else to go to. Wasnt the game I was expecting

No doubt. There's no reason to beat up on a team like that in any sport. As a coach you have to show some kind of respect for the other teams players at some point. There's all kinds of ways to keep the score down !

Should be a good game but Moss will be to much for Kiernan. You never know though NCC seems to do better the 2nd time they play teams vs the first time !

Its real simple its not always the best overall team that wins especially this time of the year. It s the one that plays the best on that night. If you lose in the regular season you have another game to look forward to but now its lose and go home. IMO I think BBHS and CCHS has a real good shot of winning if they can keep up the pressure. I hear you NKY Sports fan about Montgomery being able to match BBHS if they do then it will make it tough for the upset. But Montgomery & Clark have to travel this year to CCHS gym. That could be a factor also

IMO - I think BBHS & CCHS are very simalar in style of play & talent. Didnt get to see the crosstown shoot out game that BBHS won but I did see the district finals. Brossart had many problems that night Futscher being sick and in foul trouble and stadtmiller being hurt also and the lack of a deep bench. It was a very close game thoughout but give the camels credit they made plays when they needed them and brossart didnt. I dont think either team shot the ball outside very well that night . As far as everone counting BBHS & CCHS out in the first round I think is crazy. First off both teams get after it on D and if you play good defense and get some shots to fall you should be in the game. Cant wait to see this 2 games

The team that should be disappointed is Montgomery County. Win your district and get Brossart first round. I think it was a 10 point win for Montgomery at there place . So I think this will be a close one. As long as my polar bears take care of business we'll get the pleasure of playing one of these great teams. Its going to be fun to watch.

You would be surprised what parents would do to give there kid the opportunity to play up at another high school if asked. But BGH just said that BBHS doesnt allow it. I think their doing the right thing since thats THEIR policy !!! SInce I dont have any dogs in the fight here it sounds to me NCC is the one pushing the envelope . IMO

To me there needs to be some guide lines set to keep these feeder schools to a certain High School. If a player is going to St. Marys but will be attending CCHS thats fine but if you allow them to play for CCHS while their in grade school then your opening up a full recruiting mess , Then BBHS and NCC would be able to recruit kids from the public schools as well.NOW THAT WOULD BE SILLY !!! I feel like if a parent knows there kid will be going to a specific high school then put them in the proper grade school so if they have the chance to play up then so be it. Why try and trick the system when there's a right way to do this. But again if everybody did the right thing we wouldnt be having this conversation would we. Also I asked in my last post if anyone knew if BBHS goes after kids in NCC feeder schools with no response I take it as a NO.

Great job from my Lady Polar Bears tonight to fight off a determined Mason County team. Not sure by winning gives us much of an advantage considering your going to either play Harrison, Clark or Brossart in the first round. Enjoy this one girls and get ready for next week!
