  1. ^ Perhaps it was in the previous four game prior to playing MC, after watching that game I think Harrison caught Montgomery on a night where they couldnt throw it in the ocean.
  2. More of those shots were wide open and uncontested and not so much due to Harrison's defense. If Harrisons defense was so good I dont think they would have given up40 points in the second half. What hurt the Indians was senior night, starting a bunch of kids that were not used to the pressure of the situation, took them too long to get back into rhythm. Would love to see these two match up again in regionals, providing they both get there.
  3. In this situation I got to think that it was Montgomery with an off shooting night, they did come out and put up 26 and 14 in the next 2 quarters.
  4. Well it appears Lloyd played better defense. Just because its a zone does not necessarily mean you will foul less. With a zone you have a lot of gaps to penetrate and it is much easier to get rebounds which can cause more fouls on the defense. Perhaps Grant could have been more aggressive. Did not see the game, just stating! Where was this game played?
  5. The one thing that every one of these MC seniors have is character and I dont think they will allow themselves to lose on senior night, Montgomery by 14 with Handshoe have 20+ points tonight and breaking out!
  6. Im hoping this regional tournament draws a lot of people to come watch because there is not one dominant team this year that every expects to win. Cant wait!
  7. Woodford does have all their players, however, Johnson is no where near full strength.
  8. Agreed, but not many ahead of him. Reminds me a lot of Corey Rogers.
  9. Montgomery led by 3 at half, Woodford really struggled from deep in the first half. Woodford pushed it to as many as 15 in the fourth. Prewitt leads the way with 19.
  10. I think Woodford has too much length and speed for Montgomery to content with on both ends. If Prewitt has a spectacular game and Handshoe plays the way he is capable of playing they may pull the upset. However, at home, I like Woodford by 17.
  11. Agreed, with the talent around the region doubt he is top 5, but he is a solid athlete.
  12. Good season for a young Indians Frosh squad. Primarily 8th graders, these young men have come a long way this year. When you put them with several other Freshman that are playing JV and Varsity, this will be a team that WILL contend for regional titles in upcoming years!
  13. Had Prewitt not fould out with :55 seconds left could have very easily been a different outcome in this one. He was unstoppable the entire game. Indians still had an open shot at the end of the game to win it from Fruth but was unable to connect.
  14. I still think Harrison still has yet to play their best ball, they are the team that can sneak up and possibly win the region this year with the talent they got!
  15. Think HC has too much good size for the Indians to contest with, hoping my Indians pull it out, but I think HC wins handily.
  16. I had posted this question previously, is the 40th even having a district tourny? From my understanding and the information I got they were not going to have one. I would then assume that they would just send the team in which had the top varsity seeding in the district???????????????? Can anyone confirm?
  17. Is the POY award only awarded to a senior?
  18. With the numbers Black has been putting up at Mason, one has to think that if he played all year he might be our POY, however, I think it will go to either Stenzel or Prewitt. Top players on the top 2 teams along with many other reasons why they should be POY.
  19. If this young man could keep his head on straight, he has a bright future at the next level. Easily one of the top 5 players in the region when he can stay on the floor!
  20. I think all around Prewitt is the best player in the region, avergages 20 points or so, 10+ rebounds, blocks shots, etc and most of this comes with games plans designed to stop him, hasnt really worked for the most part. On another note, I called this game saying MC would win by 15. Montgomery having a hard time playing well on both ends of the floor, giving up 70 to St. Pat seems a bit much.
  21. I cannot see GRC giving up back to back games at home, I will take Clark in a physical "slobber-knocker" by 6.
