Bracken County 52 Nicholas County 46

What an epic battle it was.

Nicholas has been down for about a decade now. 5-21 on the season.

They did have a talented team two years ago season. Star Kyle Campbell had some help that year. They had a transfer point guard from Fleming County, and 6'7 transfer big man from Louisville Charles Washington dominated the 10th Region for a year.

They went 15-11, before losing to eventual District Champ Harrison County 57-51 in the first round. However, Kyle Campbell graduated, and Washington transferred back to Louisville the day after the season ended.

I always found that transfer to be a little sketchy.

Dominated?

Your skepticism makes me think you didn't get to watch him. He put up 35 points and 19 rebounds on Pendleton County. He put up something like 28 points and 15 rebounds in a win at Harrison County. Yes, dominated.
