I can see this as a trap game for MC. St Pat not as talented as some of the teams Montgomery has played lately, going to Maysville into that small gym, be careful now!

St. Pat always plays hard, very scrappy bunch of kids. However, need more than that to win. I think it will be closer than most expect, Montgomery by 15.

At times length can cause you to miss layups, ask the Tennessee players from last nights UK game. Wasn't the prettiest game, but sometimes the ugly wins are ones you get the most out of (win or lose) and can be the most proud of, especially on the road.

Will be a battle in Mt. Sterling, but I go with the Indians as they will have the presence of Billy Ray Fawns with them! Indians by 7.5!

I wouldnt say he is fine. If you watch him play, he plays with a noticable limp and does not have nearly the explosion or speed that he did. His vertical and lateral movement isnt close to 100%, tough to say where he is at, but still a long way to go. During the Toyota Classic he walked off the floor against Western because of his knee. He has to be playing in pain, anytime you have swelling it is very uncomfortable. Says a lot of the character of the young man wanting to help his team.

I think that Clark has established themselves as the favorite and with the way Mason has been playing as of late, they may be the #2 team. Montgomery and Mason have a big game Tuesday, we should see then.

Should be a good matchup between Fatkins and Johnson, I like Woodford on the road by 4 67-63!

Good player, but in order for him to be considered I think Clark will have to win region and make a very strong showing at state.

If Jay Johnson plays all year, would have been a very strong contender!

Any time an out of region team goes into the 16th region, you know the officiating is going to be horrible. That is why you have to know going into the game that you need to at least be 10 points better to negate the officiating and come out with a win. Why do officials from different regions call games so differently?

Montgomery has several games coming up, if they take care of business, can win handily. They can also use this time to get some other people going. Handshoe is one that comes to mind that is going to have to step up and play better if the Indians want to have a chance at competing for region. There are several other players that can use these games to gain confidence and work on some things. Indians really need these next two weeks to be VERY GOOD.

Brandon Fruth has really emerged as possibly the 3rd, if not 2nd go to scorer. How many games now has he had in double digits?

Congrats Dr. Steve Collins. Mt. Sterling will miss you. Expect GRC to put up some BIG NUMBERS this year. Looking forward to see who he hires as assistants, believe I heard he has 8 positions to fill with whomever he wants.

I agree its early and a lot can still happen, just curious to see where peoples thoughts were.

As the season is slowly coming closer to it end, who is your regional coach of the year at this point (just for fun)? 10- Humphreys- After loosing all those Seniors and having his team play like they are speaks volume 11- Feldhouse or Hundley- Central has a loaded team, but Feldhouse has keep his team focused and undefeated so far. Hundley, after loosing one of the top players in the state, has some very big wins, has played some close games with top teams in the region, and is now getting his best player back.
