Mustang is taking a nap. Brossart had a 47-43 lead and Lloyd hit a three at the horn. Sophomore Alex Trentman had 13, Senior Joe Jennings 12 and Junior Justin Saunders 9 for Brossart. Brossart now 19-6 and plays Mason Co. tomorrow. Brossart JV won 65-21. KT Williams and Tyler Bray had 12 and 10 for Lloyd.

I've noticed that. One day they might lose to Augusta (although to their credit, Augusta isn't bad at all this year) at home, then the next they'll give a Dixie or a Brossart the scare of their life.

Mustangs struggling to get shots to go, and LLoyd very dangerous with their wide open style of play.

I thought that Lloyd played a solid defensive game.

 

Mustangs having trouble putting meaningful numbers on the board. Got a huge pickup from sophomore Alex Trentman tonight who scored 13 and took a pair of charges.

Struggled late from the free-throw line 2-7 including two missed front-ends down the stretch. We are screaming for someone to step up, take over, and stimulate the offense. Justin Saunders is trying but limited in what he is capable of doing. Joe Jennings played well for the Mustangs tonight, scoring 12 and probably pulling down an equal number of rebounds.

 

Mustangs in need of a "feel-good" win, but even though struggling still getting wins. We host Mason County on Tuesday night in final home game of the season - senior night.

The Juggs connected on 5 long balls tonight, but all in all I thought that until they got desperate at the end, their shot selection and overall play was pretty good. We seem to have this effect on our opponents, re - Harrison County (36-34).

 

I'd like to say that the Juggs also played sterling defense but with our guys struggling so badly to knock down shots right now, I can't tell if is our opponent's defense or our own inability to score that is limiting our offense.

Tyler Bray most underrated player in the Region. Kid gets no pub, yet is a top 5 player imo.
